From our experience last year we found them very helpful to begin with, but as time went by and sales collapsed they got less and less helpful. We even learned from our sellers estate agent James at Rush Witt & Willson that we had no chain at one point although we was told by Andrews the chain was complete and we should complete in about 8 weeks. Even our solicitors gave up with them as they gave incorrect information to them. Just out for one thing to get you on their books so they can get commission. The only thing they were true to their word about was to send through £100 of vouchers. This branch in my opinion is probably one reason why estate agents get such bad press.

The rental side of the business is an absolute disgrace, lies, lies and more lies. The Senior Manageress (Bobby) lied to my mother (a pensioner) in order for her to take a tenancy. There is an air conditioning unit in the flat that my mother was swindled into renting for a year. Bobby the Senior Manageress said it was because the landlady has asthma but it's clearly because of damp and condensation problems. She went on to say it costs just pennies a month to run. It doesn't, it costs a fortune and it is so cold, my mother would need the heating on during Summer in order to stay there. My mother cannot stay there as it is so cold, dirty and the bills would be astronomical but they will not release her from her contract. Shameful.

As someone who is but a huge fan of renting through agents I found Andrews north streat to be very helpful , friendly and made the moving process as easy as possible and would recommend. Lisa was fantastic and found us a home and landlord that suited us for our little family and it meant we could stay in an area we love. My only snag would be the fees are quite high but you do tend to get that across the field regardless of the agent unfortunately.

It has been a painful experience dealing with Andrews. Unfortunately we really liked the property and decided to rent however I would not do business with Andrews by choice. The were pushy and rude stressing numerous documents, credit checks, trips to bath to sign & show passports - rushing to complete before the end of the month. Then surprise surprise we get the keys and no one cares anymore! They use associated companies to do handover, inventory, credit checks therefore communication has to be repeated numerous times with various people/ staff. Moved into the property and still awaiting to sign inventory and discuss all things previously agreed to be completed. No garage key, boiler room/ cupboard lock broken - (carbon monoxide alarm went off 2nd day and couldn't get in to turn off) various paint/ plastering marks agreed to be touched up prior to move in etc etc. Been in communication various times with Sarah who is 'managing' our property, however I am always the one calling, chasing. When I asked what was the latest with everything on the inventory and when will everything be completed the response I got was 'can you put everything that was on the inventory in an email?' - Sorry is it too much effort to get the report form the company YOU CHOSE to do the handover with? Or shall I the client spend another hour going through everything for the third time for you? Still waiting for all of the above to resolved, moved into the property 15 days ago. Received an email from Andrews asking me to leave a review - So as you requested Andrews here is my feedback!!

I recently used Andrews Estate Agents to sell a property for me. From the time I instructed them, they kept me up to date with all the activity on the sale, either by email or telephone. When people viewed the property I was informed of the feedback given by the prospective purchasers. Once it was sold, again they kept in touch as to the progress right through to the completion date. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful with any enquiries I had and if they did not know the answer they would find out and get back to me. I remember going to them as part of the house hunting process. They are not very professional and some of the agents really need to work on their customer services. Plus they will lie to you...I see properties for sale by them that are grossly over priced yet they tell the owners this is what it's worth...fraid not...check the address on Zoopla and you'll see what I mean. Avoid at all costs.

I was very happy with the service I received for the recent sale of my property. I already had my own marketing plan in mind but the staff helped me refine it and arranged for beautiful photos. The particular feature of Andrews for me was the assistance they offer with conveyancing, a process that in my opinion is finely crafted bureaucratic torture. Andrews employ a specialised staff member to track this process and it helps enormously. My only small quibble would be a few minor communication hiccups during marketing, but in a busy office it is only to be expected. Don't let perfection be the enemy of good!
