Worst estate agents hands down. Terrible everything!

We went for a first viewing on a house in Tewkesbury that needed some updating and required us to look closely at parts of the house, we had seen the house on Rightmove but were instantly interested as a project house. the agent from Andrews, met us at the house - however he couldn't answer our questions, and after only 15 minutes of looking he told us he would have to go as he had another appointment and ushered us out. we felt we were not taken seriously as young first time buyers and felt he didn't really want to be there. the house is also for sale with another estate agent so now we have contacted them, and they have lost us as a customer.

A total joke and a waste of time. Went there and was not helped or even called back after assurance that it will happen once the right team will be back in the office. Better go to somebody else who actually is interested in dealing with customers.

We supposed to see the flat today, which was already rent and no one even give us call or send an email. We drove 2h from London just to find out that property is already let agreed. Apparently they did called but well I spend all day on my mobile yesterday and I didn’t receive any call or voicemail or email! Had bad experience with Andrew Bristol, it’s look like andrew Gloucester is as bad. Avoid.

During what felt like the longest house selling experience of my life, the house is final sold. I have to thank Marcus personally for his stirling work keeping everything on point when it derailed many times, no thanks to the antics and demanding behaviour of the other selling party. Throughout the many challenges that the other seller posed, Marcus and the staff at Andrews remained professional, responsive and dedicated.

Worst customer service ever witnessed

Extremely rude phone service. They didn't answer any questions at all, just kept saying they would call back in a few days. The worst agency ever met

Their communication has been generally very good as a management company. As a letting agent, it left much to be desired; I had to chase them up for information on multiple occasions. However, they usually acknowledged that this wasn't acceptable and sorted things out. Previously I'd written that any complaints I've had have always been handled immediately. For example, I had a leak in the bathroom, for which they sent a plumber to fix and also arranged to have the (mildly) damaged floor replaced. However, recently this has not been the case. The property manager we've been dealing with has changed, and I've now been chasing a minor repair for over 6 weeks. Emails go unanswered, people enter the property without permission or notice, etc.

I wish i could gove negative stars. Dealt with the keynsham branch. By far the worst estate agent i have ever encountered. Staff completely incompetent and rude. Had to continuously chase the company to find out when out keys would be given for us to move in. Was told a couple of days we weresupposed to move in that we hadn't been accepted. I was 6 months pregnant at this time. The stress was good for my baby NOT!!! The landlord decided to let us stay regardless. Still had to chase andrews continuously through phone, email, going into branch before finally going to the call centre to actually get the keys. Even up to the actual day we moved in now. Now we have decided to rent from out landlord directly. Andrews claim to have no idea this is happening despite the fact my tenancy has ended. Where do they think i have gone??? No check out??? No deposit back???? Cannot wait to get my deposit back and get rid of these people. NEVER USE ANDREWS

Rented a Property through Andrews, no problem there until you want your deposit back, been waiting for over 6 weeks now for this to be returned to me and all I get after chasing them up is need to wait for the okay from land lady, need to wait for land ladies bank details, need to wait for the land lady to get back to us. I understand if there was a problem with the property but after the inspection has been done and everything been signed off why should you have to wait. Its all rubbish just another excuse for them to hold on to your money as long as possible, I see why they only had two stars on their google review. Good luck to anyone renting off Andrews, I surely won't be doing that again!!

Please read this! Not a good experience with this estate agent at all. If and when they tell you they have a good relationship with a seller. Be extremely careful as in my case it wasn’t to be a positive for me. Andrews were only interested in ramping up the price of a repossessed house to line their own pockets with commission. To tell you you’ve been out-bid when you haven’t. Make sure you have proof of another bid being listed on a public notice before increasing your own bid. Especially if it’s “conveniently” done through a separate estate agent. Do not move until this is the case, as they will be on the phone putting pressure on you. I am in the process of reporting Andrews to the ombudsman. They cost me thousands by lying. I did call their bluff and the individual i was dealing with was speechless and she couldn’t give me an explanation. Caught absolutely red handed. It’s funny how the phone did not ring again after i did so too. I would not recommend this lot, & i’ll never use them ever again. Be very very careful.

Avoid this estate agents at all cost, Andrew himself is the problem, I only made a few queries about the property he was selling for me I was verbally insulted by him and sworn at he took my property off the market, the man has a serious attitude problem and his customer skills are attrocious, he says he has 25 years experience seems like he doesn't have 2 weeks , disastrous experience, I wish I could give it 0 stars.
There are always two sides to every story, but when a client mentions he wants a discount in fee's and giving a bad review, then you know you don't want that client on your agency books. We immediately took the property off our agency books. And wished the client the best in their future sale.

Used to be great when Vince worked there, we've used them for years for lettings, but the new team are young, inexperienced, rude and bad at their jobs, would really not recommend I'm afraid.

I honestly don't know what's happened to Andrews in Clifton, this used to be a great letting agency, but we've just tried to do our annual let through them and the new management team are just awful. Rude, bad at their jobs, we've had to push them every step of the way. Avoid at all costs I'm afraid.

we bought a house from them 1 year ago and while we were living in the house we were paying the bills on time and there were no problems with the house and we didnt cause any and when we left the house 2 months ago they said there was no problem with the house but when the time came for them to return our deposit they keep bringing up new problems that we apparently caused while we were there even though they done a check before we left and said themselves there was no problem so i dont understand what they are trying to do as we have asked multiple times for them to return our deposit and they tell us they will give it to us they will give it to us soon but they dont and they are also taking money from my account with out telling me the reasons for it

What impressed me most about the service from Andrews was the "team" approach. I was able to drop into the office and, regardless of which agent I spoke to, I was able to get an update on my sale. It wasn't even a case of them looking info up on their system, they obviously spent time discussing and updating one another on the current state of play of all the sales they were handling, so they were able to give an instant update on current progress. This was backed up by very thorough record keeping/sale tracking on their online system. This meant that I was confident that my sale would progress even if my dedicated agent was on holiday. Jon's proactive approach to my sale was also impressive. He kept me updated without prompting, he chased my solicitor and buyer to keep things moving and he remained a cheerful, calming presence throughout the process. In summary, Andrews made a very stressful process a lot more pleasant than it could have been. They were worth every penny of their fee and I would recommend them to local sellers.
