Sophia Antoniades was our Sales Consultant at Andrews and what can I say?… - she was absolutely PHENOMENAL! I do not use that word lightly and as someone who has very high standards, Sophia surpassed all my expectations. She was organised, engaged, enthusiastic and very switched on with all aspects of our sale. She was responsive to my emails and usually answered anything I sent the same day or at the very latest the next day. Her phone manner was always upbeat and positive and she instilled great confidence in me from the first day we met. As we all know, buying and selling a house is very stressful but Sophia kept my nerves calm and under control (I’m sure I was an absolute nightmare 🫣!). I honestly don’t know how I would have got through the whole process without her! Sophia is an absolute credit to the Sevenoaks branch and I can definitely see her going far. From the very beginning, the whole team made buying our first home feel as smooth and straightforward as possible. Everyone was friendly, approachable and always happy to help, making what can be a stressful process much easier to navigate. Alex was absolutely meticulous from start to finish. His communication was outstanding, always keeping us updated and making sure nothing was left unanswered. Unfortunately, our solicitors were incredibly difficult to deal with, but Alex never let that slow things down. He was persistent, proactive and professional throughout, constantly chasing things up and ensuring the purchase kept moving forward. Nothing ever seemed like too much trouble, and it genuinely felt like he cared about getting us into our new home rather than just closing another sale. His organisation, attention to detail and willingness to go the extra mile were second to none. If anyone deserves a pay rise, it’s Alex. He is a huge asset to the company and the standard that every estate agent should aspire to. Overall, the entire team were fantastic throughout the process. They were welcoming, knowledgeable and always quick to respond whenever we had questions. Buying a house can be overwhelming, but they made us feel supported every step of the way. I really can’t fault his service, but one suggestion would be that Andrews rethink their choice of recommended solicitor as much of the frustration and delay stemmed from this side.

I bought my dads flat from Andrew’s a few years ago and they were so lovely that I went back to them to sell it after he died. I cannot praise the team highly enough, it was a tricky sale due shared ownership, leasehold and missing paperwork. There were days I thought it would never all come together and without their constant help and assistance pushing the sale forward, I don’t know if it would have completed. A big thank you to Zena and Tom for the amazing communication, regular updates, and general hard work; they were constant go-between for all involved parties and made everything a little less stressful because I knew they were following up not only on my behalf but working to support the buyer also. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

I can only sing praises for Andrews Estate Agents in Sevenoaks. Zena came to value our home and having already found somewhere we wanted to buy we wanted someone to be able to help us sell asap. She delivered on her promise above and beyond with her finding us a buyer the day after the house went on the market. We then dealt with the lovely Sophia who constantly kept us up to date with the progress, acted as the middle person between us and the buyers which made the solicitor queries get dealt with much faster. Andrews have been amazing!! However at the beginning we did go with purple bricks mainly due to there being ‘ no cost’ but I was quickly mistaken! We had a terrible experience with them which ended up costing us a lot of money. We then decided to get in touch with Andrews Sevenoaks after numerous recommendations. My relationship with Andrew’s started a year before I decided to sell my house, I didn’t go through with the process with them at the time, but kept in touch with them. A year later Zena called out of the blue, I was already engaged with another state agent which was “the best” in town (so I heard) I had a difficult time dealing with the lack of professionalism of the so called “best agent”, the lack of care and response…and when Zena cold called me to see how things were going, I thought;” if she is calling me is because she is keen to do the work”…so I decided to change agencies. It was the best thing I ever done! Zena is brilliant! She communicated from day one and never failed to answer a phone call or call back within minutes…I never felt disappointed with her. She was there from day one until everything was done! I knew I could count on her to sort things out, and trust me, in the process of selling and buying, the little issues needs attention as much as the big ones and if things are dealt quickly, things move forward quickly too, otherwise it can take ages for a simple email to be dealt with if the person you are dealing with doesn’t care. Any way, Zena basically saved the day (many times) she was the one who sorted out everything in the end. The buyers fears, the misunderstanding of the solicitors, (the silly fights between themselves is just ridiculous) the communication issues with all the parties involved in the chain, the non sense that goes on and the never ending questions and answers needed in order to proceed in order to sell and buy a property. Trust me, don’t go with “the best” name agency, go with the best people and in town, in Sevenoaks everyone I know, that have dealt with Zena, says the same thing: “she saves the day” so don’t waste your time and energy with others. I wish I didn’t waste 3 months with the other one…nearly 6 by the time I was able to legally switch agencies. I could write a lot more, but in summary: Zena was always there, happy to sort things out, happy to call, to answer, to fix and to try to understand things that no one even knew why was happening in the first place! Zena was great from start to end and I have her to thank for making the deadline and not losing my mind, my buyer and my new house! Ps: the Andrew’s team is also great, because they work as a team…Zena was never the person who I should have dealt with, she took over to help, and because I felt more comfortable dealing with her, she became my main point of contact…now that’s what I call team work!
