GoogleExcellent service from the Balham Branch. Emmanuel, in particular, went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with everything - He answered queries, resolved issues and arranged another viewing of the property when requested.
All in all, very happy with the standard of service we received. Everyone I spoke to at Andrews Balham was polite and efficient, which made finding somewhere to live a doddle.
Many thanks!

GoogleAndrews Estate Agents were a pleasure to work with! This was our very first purchase experience in the UK and we couldn't have done it without the support of Julia Garrod at Andrews Clifton. Several unexpected issues popped up during the purchase process but Julia was always on the case, ready to do whatever was necessary to help us progress through the process. Other members of the team at Andrews Clifton were also on hand to make things happen. We are very grateful for the help and support we received from Andrews Clifton - even though we were the buyers!

GoogleBeing based in London I needed to know my purchase could be handled locally quickly and efficiently. I had complete confidence in Ross and his colleagues to handle everything I threw at them and would certainly recommend them. Thank you.

GoogleIncredible persistence and dedication to profiteering, deception, and obfuscation. Staff member I worked with was generally rude and unhelpful, if not actively obstructive.
On balance, while drawing up contracts and fixing the one thing that went wrong while I was in the property, they were pretty organised, but administrative and legal prowess is a double edged sword; really felt the other side of it when exposed to the contractual loopholes and pitfalls, and fundamentally unscrupulous values of this agency.
I understand letting agents don't generally tend to have the greatest reputation for customer care, but, these guys, from my experience, were particularly bad.

Googlewell where do i start, do not deal with the letting manager Alisa Goodhew she is a pile of crap. she lies to you denies anything she has said to you and says she is going to help you and she does the complete opposite. we ended up going to court because of her.
please avoid a long long winded battle sooooo not worth it.

GoogleI recently sold my house through Andrews Estates in Abingdon. Having had it on the market with a different agent for a couple of months who failed to communicate.
Andrews were fantastic from start to finish and proved that while they were a little more expensive they were definitely worth it! Luke managed to generate me an offer very quickly.
From there the after-offer management was handed over to Laura who worked tirelessly to keep the process on track. As a result things were done and dusted in about 6 weeks from the offer and that also included resolving several unforeseen issues with the property!
I live in Australia and the house I was selling was in Abingdon England. (An 11 hour time difference). Email communication was vital to that and while my solicitors weren't so good at that. Laura chased up my questions for me and emailed the results.
My recommendation is don't just pick the Estate Agent because they seem like good sales people. Pick an agent that is going to see the process through to the end.
I strongly recommend Andrews Estate on that basis!

GoogleAwful, rude and completely UNPROFESSIONAL!!!
As a previous tenant of a managed property, I asked if Andrews could give the new tenants a quick call to see if my important tax letter had made it there by mistake. Oh no!! Too much to ask.
I was told by Rita that she was too busy to be speaking to me, couldn't do make this call for everyone so couldn't do it for me and that she had far too much to do.
As a property manager myself, I have done this many times for my previous tenants and even gone to a property to collect post for them and then delivered it to their new address! So to ask for a quick phone call was not much to ask AT ALL!
Rita was just incredibly rude and dismissive. I have spoken with a few members on the phone who sounds disinterested and truly dull! Thank god I never went to work for Andrews when offered! What an unprofessional bunch.

GoogleBy far the worst experience of my life. They will try all possible ways to get all the pennies you have.
My experience is even though we had agreed on a moving date and I found new tenants to move in, they put a week gap in between two moving in order to get more money from me since the flat would stay empty. Awful service, rude people.

GoogleWorst letting agents i have ever delt with. Will never deal with them again! Communication is non existant. Don't expect anything to be easy when you rent with these jokers as they will make you jump through hoops so they don't have to do any work. They also don't have the facilities to transfer your deposit back into your account. If you are dealing with Nasreen Dad, do yourself a favour and walk away immediately.

GoogleAVOID!! Unprofessional letting agents with a poor attitude. Beware when signing any contract with Andrews as they will not represent you as a tenant. No handover process between tenant’s and not securing your deposit due to paperwork errors.

GoogleFREE USED TAMPONS!
Right now that I have your attention the review (and an explanation of the caption)
After signing the contract and picking up the keys from the office and paying all fees requested I drove to the new flat.
None of the work that was outlined in the offer pack had been done and the house had not been cleaned. when I rang them they explained that none of the work had been done as there was a problem with damp in the property, sort of thing they might have mentioned that morning when I was in the office. They simply took my money and said nothing!
The house was covered in dust and had obviously not been cleaned there were even used tampons in the bins inside the property. A cleaner was eventually sent. it took three weeks to sort the rest of the issues on the offer pack out and I am still having issues to this day (three months later).
Compensation for the time the flat was not ready was declined so I ended up paying full rent for a filthy building site. The customer service and communication is terrible! They promise call backs when they are busy that never come. They have lied on many occasions including telling me an issue cant be dealt with because a member of staff is out of the office for a few days on annual leave just to have that same member of staff call me about a different issue a few hours later.
The list goes on but I haven't got all night.
Very disappointed and feel no effort has been made to value a paying customer.
To sum up
liars and cheats that cant be trusted who just don't know the meaning of the words customer service.

GoogleThe service from Andrews was superb for our sale and purchase.
The customer care, professionalism and attention to detail were excellent, from the initial valuation, through to arranging of viewings and the weekly progress updates once we had agreed our sale and purchase.
We were particularly impressed by the way they rapidly arranged new viewings when our first buyer pulled out (through no fault of Andrews), and we also liked the Sunday viewings option when we were looking at properties.
We would have no hesitation in recommending Andrews, Bishops Cleeve to others.

GoogleAntoine and the team were excellent from start to finish. He quickly had answers to any questions and kept the communication between solicitors and our buyers moving.
We were particularly impressed that whenever we called with a question he would have the information at hand, understood all aspects of our case and on many occasions had already chased things before we had, it is very re-assuring to have someone like Antoine acting on your behalf giving good advice and keeping things moving.
Would 100% recommend

GoogleAndrews are by far the worst lettings agency I have ever rented from (I have rented in London several times) their staff are rude and sarcastic and don't even bother to respond to urgent emails. They are whole heartedly in it for the money and don't give a toss about their tenants or the people they manage property for.
They'll refuse to replace broken goods and furniture for you and when you move in you'll find that the cleaning hasn't even been done and anything they promised you (they promised us a new sofa) will not be arranged either. If you like having to chase people and threaten to withhold rent to get things done, you'll love Andrews.
We have moved out BECAUSE of andrews treating us so poorly, its a real shame because we loved the house. Landlords take note.

GoogleI have rented for 12yrs in places such as ELephant in Castle. This is by far the worst estate agents I have come across. Below are some examples of why.
They refused to give us our keys when they initially had them, claiming they had to clean first. No cleaning had taken place and we arrived to a flat covered in mould, grunge and frozen peas. After they had 'cleaned' it was not vastly improved.
As for our furnishings, they would not be removed by anyone from a skip. Andrews would not replace these (the sofa has stuffing coming from several large tears, not to mention the stains...), but kindly offered instead that we throw them out and take the flat for the same price unfurnished. Please note they have been telling prospective tenants on recent viewings of our flat that they would replace any furnishing that were not up to standard...
Last week, whilst I was asleep after a night shift, an agent let herself into our house, without even knocking, for a viewing that we had not been asked about. We had in fact explicitly told them NOT to book viewings whilst I was on night shifts. She was then rude.
Even if you like their flat, I would strongly urge you not to become a tenant of this agency based on our experience.

GoogleI put the sale of my property in the hands of Andrews in March 2011, we had a stream of people viewing the property and it sold, sadly the sale fell through, Andrews were quick to re- market and it sold again, the same thing happened and they put it back up again. My property sold and I have found Andrew , Jayne and Liz all very helpful and informative.
