Redrow company not trust worthy. Take my advice and ask for private companies to do inside your house properly. One example , we paid 650£ for a small garden for turf which was done end of last year, the ground was not levelled and more potholes appears in garden by now also the turf start dying after 3month while raining everyday so it wasn't due to lack of water but due to the fact it wasn't a good quality turf, we cut the turf in April because some part grown high and some part was bald, the baldness is more visible since we cut it. When we reported it says it's not covered by warranty. I clearly told them when they were doing the job make sure the ground is levelled but obviously no body listen thats why we have more and more potholes. I won't trust redrow or it's subcontractors they doing terrible job for you and they don't care. Take my advice, do everything yourself privately and no hassle. Also Redrow asking for feedback immediately as you move in , obviously due to excitement of moving to new house most people give 4-5* but if redrow ask me now I won't give even 2*. Very disappointed with redrow.

We were very Impressed with our arranged visit on Saturday so much so that we followed it up with a visit to Newport to view the Welwyn. we loved it but are now aware of the extras such as kitchen floor tiles add significantly to the price of the basic property. We love the open plan kitchen dining living area way of living. We now have to wait patiently for the next phase.

I visited the development with my family to see a property that we are potentially buying, Rob was super helpful and friendly and he took the time to explain us everything including the process when selling our first property and buying a 2nd one. The day after we visited the office in Nantwich I emailed them with our comments and questions and I received an email back from “Simon” answering only part of my questions, but what shocked me was the attitude of this person, basically saying that they got buyers for the plot and asked me to not consider that one anymore and he didn’t provide any further information related to the other plot available. At the end of the email he asked me “with all due respect” to go with another builder with lower quality, standards and finish because is going to be a “better option” for me. Honestly, I couldn’t believe what I was reading, that’s not the answer you expect from a seller or from customer service. Redrow, this seller person is not someone that represents your brand and company. And I will make sure that when buying the house, I’m in contact with any other person that will make my experience smoother and treating me with respect, as at the end, buying a house is not like buying a pair of shoes.

Firstly I would like to thank and recommend Simon the sales consultant. He was extremely knowledgeable about the property answering any questions that I had. He ensured the experience I received was exciting as it should be looking to buy a house in comparison to some other developments on Kingsbourne. The Redrow show homes were decorated in an extremely modern and appealing design which enhanced the well thought through layout of the properties. Again making them more appealing than other developments on the site.

Incredibly dishonest people. Promised to mark out the plots of the garden - didn't even request access, yet alone get the plots marked out and we had to guess the codes to the padlocks (0000) with Julia to view the property. I was told on the day I reserved my house that the roof was on (including tiles) and the house was watertight including windows and doors. It turns out none of this was true and even now, weeks later, it still isn't true. They convince you to sign up through entirely dishonest updates about progress. When I called them out on this, they claimed that the online updates should be ignored and I should only trust phone updates. They stupidly said this in a saved voicemail. They admitted they make up updates on the my redrow platform and then give the real update after by phone (where there's no documentation). They arranged for me to come and choose kitchen colours on a Thursday. On the Wednesday I received a message saying the office is closed on Thursday so they won't meet me. They told me I had a week to choose kitchen choices. The next morning, Lucinda then emailed saying I had to decide within the next day. When I queried this she admitted she wasn't being honest and I still had a week. Julia promised to send across the current estimated completion date. Nearly a week later she still hadn't. When I chased Emily Mckinnell, the area sales manager based in Salisbury regional office, she aggressively insulted me and refused to provide an estimated completion date. She was incredibly rude and insulting and has now been reported to redrow. She is the reason I withdrew from my purchase as she was that hostile in her correspondence. I've never seen such a hostile message when purchasing anything, let alone a house for nearly half a million! Julia had also promised to email me colour options. I had to chase a week later and again the rude, aggressive Emily responded having a go at me for chasing. Chasing something which redrow had promised to send the same day a week earlier. They're a hostile and rather rude company at times. The way they changed from helpful to aggressive, intimidating and hostile after I reserved my property is genuinely shocking. A truly poor way to treat customers
