I am writing this review with an overwhelming sense of disbelief and disgust concerning my experience with Redrow Homes at the Hendricks Green development. I recently purchased a house that fails to meet NHBC standards, and despite raising these critical defects with Redrow prior to completing the purchase, the company has shown shocking negligence in rectifying the issues. The ground floor levels of the property, a fundamental aspect of structural integrity, do not meet NHBC standards (Floor levels not within NHBC standards and far exceed NHBC tolerances). Despite bringing this to Redrow's attention before finalizing the purchase, the company has failed to take adequate measures to address these severe shortcomings. What is particularly disconcerting is the lack of commitment to agreed works with Justin Brown, who personally inspected the property in person and acknowledged the defects. These works, crucial for bringing the property up to standard, are inexplicably not being honoured. This failure to follow through on commitments is both shocking and unacceptable. The situation is further exacerbated by the actions of Andrew Knights, Construction Director at the Hendricks Green development. Justin Brown, an equivalent member of the construction team, had supported & agreed to the necessary works. However, Mr. Knights is actively blocking the rectification process for some strange reason. Compounding the issue, it has come to my attention that the existing construction team at the site has undergone significant changes, with some members being let go or sacked due to such defects to houses such as mine being present and signed off under their employment. Despite this, Redrow PLC is inexplicably unwilling to take the necessary steps to rectify the defects to such houses including mine! I have written documentation from Redrow's regional chief executives confirming their obligation to address such defects, yet the company is failing to honour this commitment. As it stands, Redrow is in clear breach of contract, and this situation is absolutely unacceptable. I feel compelled to share this experience with others to shed light on the lack of accountability and commitment demonstrated by Redrow Homes. Until the company takes immediate and decisive action to rectify these issues, I cannot recommend Redrow Homes to anyone seeking a reliable and trustworthy home builder. My hope is that this review serves as a cautionary tale for potential homebuyers and prompts Redrow to address these issues promptly and transparently.

What a lovely site! Having worked in construction for many years, I know good quality when I see it. The customer service received from Allison was incredible! So welcoming and warm, but also factual and succinct, exactly what you want when enquiring about making such a large sentimental commitment! An initial 5-minute general inquiry call with her turned into a visit on their next available appointment. We'll be contacting the recommended broker tomorrow and will be back! Thanks again Allison.

I would like to highly recommend Redrow Hendricks Green and especially Nalab. The process has been so far very easy, all the questions are answered quickly. They return the calls and emails promptly and they are willing to work with you to ensure you are 100% happy with the property that you are buying. Informative and helpful staff. I still have lots of matters to sort before I can commit to buying at this minute. I prefer proper architect style floor plans , not the 3D views I also like to know overall footage, preferably in sq ft.at my age, for all property styles. I do like these heritage style homes compared to the modern 3 storey , dark brick coloured homes, with flat windows as I see often in new builds and especially in places like Cambridge. Please stay traditional with proper decent garages! I will buy!
