Just like to give a great big shout out to the site team on Kingsbourne. Thank you so much for the prompt and to be fair prompt is an understatement I sent an email this morning about a broken toilet and it was sorted and fixed before lunch. To be fair since we moved into our gorgeous Red Row home in September we have nothing but praise for the whole team. Special Thanks to Mark Hulse πŸ‘πŸ‘

Been here 4 years now, lovely development, but the state of Woods Road spoils it. This was brought up on here by another 9 months ago, and β€˜referred to constructors’, and I’ve emailed customer services several times, still no response. It needs surfacing, but there’s never a response reference this specific issue. Disappointing. It’s 3 months since I placed this review, signs of the road being surfaced within 6 months of my initial post are looking quite slim

Our Redrow home in Devon has been nothing but a nightmare. Water ingress, leaking bi-fold doors, cavity trays that are not performing, miss-sold products to name a few. The sales team start off nicely but then you being to notice that questions don’t always get answered, be careful buying and choosing upgrades and ensuring that you get what you paid for, we didn’t. The after sales service is shocking. We are living in a rental now as our house is not fit for purpose with defects existing for two and a half years without resolve. CEO loves to instruct their litigation team as soon as the heat is on. Watch out for the Redrow managers who might tell you to approach the NHBC when they should be sorting out issues themselves.

I bought a Redrow home and had so many problems. What Redrow won’t tell you, is the quality of the build will be poor. The NHBC if you need them sides with the developer and not the buyer, so you have no protection if you should need it, check out Trust Pilot on NHBC. Also Redrow are able to buy 5 star reviews so don’t get hoodwinked into their reviews. You will have to pay a management fee, the company Redrow choose will be unregulated, loads of hidden charges and it won’t be just cutting the grass you pay for either and it can keep going up and if you refuse to pay, they can takeaway your freehold to your house. In fact to save you loads of stress, buy an older house and steer right away from a new build. Redrow are as bad as them all, even though they will tell you differently. If you do go ahead, don’t use their solicitors, pay for a snagging company and prayπŸ₯Ή

Redrow sales team start off pretty nice, you reserve your plot & look forward to the advertised β€˜dream home’ STOP!! Prior to legal completion we started to have concerns, the brickwork, then noticing evidence of water at ground level. We wrote straight away to Redrow, the NHBC & our conveyancing solicitor (prior to legal completion), we got a written undertaken from their construction manager telling us that it would meet NHBC standards. This very undertaking reassured us to complete - worst decision ever!! 2.5 years in and we are now living in a rental, our ground floor has water ingress, the RH levels are ridiculous over & above normal. It is leaking water from bi-fold doors, cavity trays not performing, miss-sold products & so much stress you wouldn’t believe or ever want. This is just the start of our issues. I’ve been actively addressing issues with Parliament & for the benefit of everyone hoping that justice can be done in the future for those wanting to still purchase a new build. From personal experience I won’t ever look again at Redrow as a company, they have lacked integrity towards us and in our opinion will not support you when things go wrong. Expect little and you might not be disappointed.

Redrow start off lovely and can’t do enough for you. Once you’ve bought your house they ignore emails, they withdraw from engaging and when you actually find out how bad your house is…. You won’t get anything from them. Best bet…. Either don’t buy Redrow or get a professional survey within your first two weeks and get a solicitor involved. Problems with flooding gardens, brick work not up to scratch, floor levels out on side of the room to the other, kitchens not fitted correctly, doors not fitted right, drains meant to take water away from the property don’t actually take water away…! Roof tiles not fitted correctly and the first gust of wind and they all come off. Redrow then blame storm damage and don’t fix it. AVOID AVOID AVOID…! DO NOT SPEND MONEY WITH REDROW HONES ANYWHERE IN THE COUNTRY…!

I work on this site as a sub contractor and I can not praise it enough. Though it's had its ups and downs with management they have finally found a team that is brilliant at what they do and the site now flows superbly. Top site keep it up!
