GoogleWe moved in to our new home over a year ago now at Monchelsea Park, love it here. The house is lovely area quiet and close to everything. Redrow are attentive to snagging Peter is excellent on the support team and Michelle is always ready to help. Positive experience overall and quality houses. Sales office can be slightly yes to everything but not always delivering, however they do try to help where possible. Happy customers.

GoogleHorrendous I bought plot 52 off plan and wish I hadn’t! The sales process was horrendous, the completion date was changed so many times that eventually I had to move into temporary accommodation. Once I moved in there were hundreds of snags, these should be fixed within two weeks but months and months later there has lots of promises, but nothing much actually done (the customer service is outrageously bad). Tens of thousands of pounds of optional extras, are either faulty or broken, dozens of hours spent trying to get the developer to fix them, nothing done so will end up in court. Buying on this development is the worst decision I have ever made, there are lots of other local developers that are far better. Speaking to all my neighbours, they have had the same experiences as me. A local friend bought from linden omes and has had a far better experience- not perfect, but nothing like the horrendous situation I have been living on for nine months. If we could get our money back we would be out without hesitation. Our advice DO NOT BUY ON THIS ESTATE. Update - August 2024. 256 snags reported 18 months ago. Many snags reported dozens of times, still not fixed. No customer service or after sales support. Plenty of apologies and promises to resolve snags, just very little action taken in reality. Got to know many suppliers and contractors, all say our problems are not uncommon. Hoping the sell off to Barratt might see the end of the issues, otherwise will start court proceedings as soon as we've been in for 2 years. Lovely houses, but not worth the stress and disruption. I'll add a link to our snag report if I get 500 likes. 18 months on, our advice is still - DO NOT BUY.

GoogleFamily member lives on the estate, was nice once.. but 5 years later it's been left to rot and looks awful. Houses built in weird places, now further housing are being built on any bit of land. Need to sort out the first phases, that whole section is awful.

GoogleTireless assistance given during our site visit yesterday. Marilyn went over and above what was expected and devoted her time to answering all our questions about our new home on the development. Nothing was too much trouble. She is highly knowledgeable and answered our queries effortlessly. Would also like to mention her colleague Sarah Jane, who has also been of great assistance throughout the process this far. Both are always ready to answer queries and, where necessary forward them on to the site manager on our behalf. Both are a credit to Redrow and have certainly helped ease the pressure of house buying.
