The worst experience I've ever had, awful organisation and zero knowledge on properties they manage. Don't know a single student that is happy with their services.

An absolutely appallingly service. They do not deserve even one star. The service is inadequate and inefficient, avoid at all costs. Through false promises and plain incompetence they will cost you time, money and sanity.

Had a problem with the property and they dealt with it immediately and were extremely helpful! Would definitely rent with them again!! Absolutely lovely people!

Helped us find the right property and got us all sorted after being let down by another local agent. They kept us updated and even met us at the property with the keys to help move in.

Just awful. Stood in the pissing rain for an estate agent who never showed. Then they tried to show me a house yet "forgot" to mention it had no central heating and had mould in most rooms. Woman (Sue) was extremely rude over the phone without any provocation.

Awful estate agents from start to finish. Went without an oven for a month due to their incompetence. They broke their own contract upon the end of tenancy. The list could go on. Extremely unprofessional.

Thank you to all the staff at Your Move in Egham for making my experience, pleasant and easy. I would highly recommend using Your Move if you are looking for properties. Thanks again

Unnecessary stress, rude and unhelpful staff and complete inability to do anything. I've heard sly remarks behind my housemates backs from a staff member, I've been unable to regain my deposit due to the staff not keeping up to date and not bothering to do anything even after countless phone calls and visits and students are forced to use this service due to a lack of alternatives. Shameful and dissapointing.

Terrible experience as a landlord, will be withdrawing my portfolio from this agency. Staff don't know what they are doing, patronising, rude with zero customer services skills. Run by your stereotypical estate agent types (all talk but no action)

Very greedy agent. Charged me a lot from my deposit. Even all those damages were made by last resident and also showed in check in report. After I rised a dispute, they suddenly made up a check out fee, which they never mention 2 month ago. Their service is really bad. After you rented with them, their attitude will changed. They only care landlords' interested. They don't protect residents' rights who rent whit then. Think carefully before you rent with them.

I am the mother of one of the students that used this service. I can not advise any body strongly enough not to use this agent. I concur with the rest of the reviews strongly about the staff with the added bonus of their lack of understanding of the service they are providing around certain legislation around renting out property It started off bad at the start of the academic year when we turned up after a nine hour journey to retrieve the keys in the opening hours they had posted on their web sight. Only to find they had closed. We had to find a hotel to stay in for two nights before my daughter and I could get into her house. Which was an extra cost we did not need or warrant. Their excuse staff shortages and that they had to sort out an emergency. Well we were an emergency as no one had thought to take a mobile so they could deal with enquiries trying to use their facility when they should have been their. Secondly we are trying to retrieve my daughter's deposit as we speak yes in September the tennancy ended at the beginning of July. Again numerous phone calls no response to my emails at all and three different stories as to the situation of the deposit. They did not even know it was being held in a secure deposit scheme. So if you are renting using this organisation this academic year. Be aware be very aware. So I rate this company minus unfortunately it does not go that far back

WORST ESTATE AGENTS IN THE UNIVERSE! Your-Move (Egham) believe they know what they're doing but they simply don't! As I'm a student they believe they can take as much money from me as possible. I seriously would not recommend any student to go through this estate agent at any cost! Our toilet over our 1 year tenancy contract did not work intermittently for a total of 18 days. After many attempts to try and get this fixed, Your-Move just gave up. They even offered to fit a new toilet into the house, but that did not happen. Would you pay your rent for a house with 1 toilet that doesn't work? I don't think you would. The staff at Your-Move (and Holloways Residential) are very rude, impatient, cocky and to be honest, don't even know what they're talking about half the time. They assume that because we're 'students', we don't know how to deal with renting accommodation as we have no experience. I agree with all the other reviews regarding the appalling service Your-Move provide; this doesn't even deserve 1 star. Another bad thing about Your-Move is that they don't inform the landlords regarding the issues the tenants are having; there seems to be a massive lack of communication between Your-Move and the landlords (the communication between tenants and Your-Move is also appalling). We are now in the process of trying to get our security deposit back; the check-out inventory wasn't even sent to us until we asked for it (they most likely weren't going to send it us so we couldn't dispute the inventory and so they could take more money from our deposit). Disgraceful.

My housemates and I were struggling to look for a place to stay due to problems with our other rented property. All the team tried extremely hard to find us a place and gave us advice on what we could do in the meantime. During a large panic on our side, they managed to calm us down and supported us through the process. My experience with Your Move has been amazing.

Genuinely helpful estate agent, bussy office, immediate responds and an active team.
Hi Shirene, thank you for your kind words, it is always a pleasure to read that our customers had a good experience with us. Best wishes, Filipe Dias

Called to ask about a property was sharply told "It's not available and we have nothing around there or anything like it" I got my partner to call a while later and they were offered a viewing. I decided to go with another agent with the exact same properties. Was not asked for my criterea, budget, name or anything. I know now to handle myself on the phone as it is a good part of my job so this weired sharp response was a surprise. Would not trouble them again as there is so much competition out there. 1 star because there is no minus option.
Hi Ms Kate, I have taken my time today to apologise to any customers that for one reason or another have not had the service levels that they should have had from our office in Blackheath. Rest assured we now have a full new team and we are very friendly and professional. We are now working very closely with the community and we love to help our customers achieve their dreams no matter how big or small they are. Once again apologies for your previous experience. Best wishes, Filipe Dias

Terrible: Worse than 1star Rented a flat through the Blackheath office in January 2016. If I could give them less than 1star I would. Upon moving in I experienced: * Missing Keys : I had to pay almost £120 to get keys. 3 months later I still do not have a full set of keys. * Mice in the flat - took almost 2 months to resolve. * None heating - Took almost 2 months to resolve. * Flat was unclean. * Inventory report was inaccurate. * Extremely poor service right though to management. They were unresponsive, paid no attention to the status of existing issues and showed a complete lack of care for the fact that they were providing a diabolical standard of service. They couldn't even get me a fob for building entry. The lettings manager said I should wait around outside to follow someone into the building!! The property management team would pass issues to the branch who would pass them onto building management who would place responsibility on the property management team. Awful service and I would never ever recommended to anyone even if they paid me.
Mr A S, as a relatively new manager and after having read your review/story, I would to take this opportunity to apologise despite how long it has taken, no one should have go to through a situation like that. I do hope that if you ever come cross us again, we will certainly raise the bar and provide you a 5***** star service. If you decide to purchase, sell, rent or let please do come us to for advice I am more than happy to share with you all my experience.

Not a single good word to say about this company. From searching social media i glad to see I'm not alone. Incompetence at every level. To cut a long story short, i had unpaid tenants (squatters) in an overcrowded flat share. Before moving into the property, i was assured i would be living with two professional adults. This was not the case. Instead, i was living with three other adults, one of which was unemployed and so was home all day with a baby that kept me up all night as well as causing overcrowding in the communal areas. Although aware of the situation from the very beginning Reeds Rains allowed this to continue over six months. All i wanted to do was leave my contract and cut all ties with this company but they would not let me leave without paying a hefty fee. The number of sleepless nights i have suffered is nothing when compared to helplessness i felt and inaction of their staff. The situation came to a head after being threatened at knifepoint in my kitchen for refusing to give the other occupants money, forcing me to leave with a police escort for my safety. Even after the incident Reeds Rains declined to give me back my month's rent or my deposit for a lengthy period leaving me to rely on the kindness of friends to sleep on their sofas until i could save up a deposit for a new flat. I only received my deposit back after my company threatened legal action. If you are a first-time renter do not be fooled, they are not on your side. Moving to London was a life ambition of mine and their incompetence destroyed this joyous time.

My tenant told me the valuer didn't turn up for the appointment and didn't ring to apologise so they've lost my business

Why aren't more agents like this? I bought my first house through the guys at Reeds Rains. From registering my details to collecting the keys they were all so helpful. The recommended their own mortgage advisor who talked me through the whole buying process and also got me a great rate!! A big thank you to Dan and his team for making my purchase so easy, would 100% recommend them over anyone else in the area
