GoogleWORST ESTATE AGENTS IN THE UNIVERSE!
Your-Move (Egham) believe they know what they're doing but they simply don't! As I'm a student they believe they can take as much money from me as possible. I seriously would not recommend any student to go through this estate agent at any cost!
Our toilet over our 1 year tenancy contract did not work intermittently for a total of 18 days. After many attempts to try and get this fixed, Your-Move just gave up. They even offered to fit a new toilet into the house, but that did not happen. Would you pay your rent for a house with 1 toilet that doesn't work? I don't think you would.
The staff at Your-Move (and Holloways Residential) are very rude, impatient, cocky and to be honest, don't even know what they're talking about half the time. They assume that because we're 'students', we don't know how to deal with renting accommodation as we have no experience.
I agree with all the other reviews regarding the appalling service Your-Move provide; this doesn't even deserve 1 star.
Another bad thing about Your-Move is that they don't inform the landlords regarding the issues the tenants are having; there seems to be a massive lack of communication between Your-Move and the landlords (the communication between tenants and Your-Move is also appalling).
We are now in the process of trying to get our security deposit back; the check-out inventory wasn't even sent to us until we asked for it (they most likely weren't going to send it us so we couldn't dispute the inventory and so they could take more money from our deposit). Disgraceful.

GoogleMy housemates and I were struggling to look for a place to stay due to problems with our other rented property. All the team tried extremely hard to find us a place and gave us advice on what we could do in the meantime. During a large panic on our side, they managed to calm us down and supported us through the process. My experience with Your Move has been amazing.

GoogleCalled to ask about a property was sharply told "It's not available and we have nothing around there or anything like it" I got my partner to call a while later and they were offered a viewing. I decided to go with another agent with the exact same properties. Was not asked for my criterea, budget, name or anything. I know now to handle myself on the phone as it is a good part of my job so this weired sharp response was a surprise. Would not trouble them again as there is so much competition out there.
1 star because there is no minus option.

Hi Ms Kate, I have taken my time today to apologise to any customers that for one reason or another have not had the service levels that they should have had from our office in Blackheath. Rest assured we now have a full new team and we are very friendly and professional. We are now working very closely with the community and we love to help our customers achieve their dreams no matter how big or small they are. Once again apologies for your previous experience.
Best wishes, Filipe Dias

GoogleTerrible: Worse than 1star
Rented a flat through the Blackheath office in January 2016.
If I could give them less than 1star I would. Upon moving in I experienced:
* Missing Keys : I had to pay almost £120 to get keys. 3 months later I still do not have a full set of keys.
* Mice in the flat - took almost 2 months to resolve.
* None heating - Took almost 2 months to resolve.
* Flat was unclean.
* Inventory report was inaccurate.
* Extremely poor service right though to management. They were unresponsive, paid no attention to the status of existing issues and showed a complete lack of care for the fact that they were providing a diabolical standard of service.
They couldn't even get me a fob for building entry. The lettings manager said I should wait around outside to follow someone into the building!!
The property management team would pass issues to the branch who would pass them onto building management who would place responsibility on the property management team.
Awful service and I would never ever recommended to anyone even if they paid me.

Mr A S, as a relatively new manager and after having read your review/story, I would to take this opportunity to apologise despite how long it has taken, no one should have go to through a situation like that. I do hope that if you ever come cross us again, we will certainly raise the bar and provide you a 5***** star service. If you decide to purchase, sell, rent or let please do come us to for advice I am more than happy to share with you all my experience.

GoogleNot a single good word to say about this company. From searching social media i glad to see I'm not alone. Incompetence at every level. To cut a long story short, i had unpaid tenants (squatters) in an overcrowded flat share. Before moving into the property, i was assured i would be living with two professional adults. This was not the case. Instead, i was living with three other adults, one of which was unemployed and so was home all day with a baby that kept me up all night as well as causing overcrowding in the communal areas. Although aware of the situation from the very beginning Reeds Rains allowed this to continue over six months. All i wanted to do was leave my contract and cut all ties with this company but they would not let me leave without paying a hefty fee. The number of sleepless nights i have suffered is nothing when compared to helplessness i felt and inaction of their staff. The situation came to a head after being threatened at knifepoint in my kitchen for refusing to give the other occupants money, forcing me to leave with a police escort for my safety. Even after the incident Reeds Rains declined to give me back my month's rent or my deposit for a lengthy period leaving me to rely on the kindness of friends to sleep on their sofas until i could save up a deposit for a new flat. I only received my deposit back after my company threatened legal action.
If you are a first-time renter do not be fooled, they are not on your side. Moving to London was a life ambition of mine and their incompetence destroyed this joyous time.

GoogleWhy aren't more agents like this? I bought my first house through the guys at Reeds Rains. From registering my details to collecting the keys they were all so helpful. The recommended their own mortgage advisor who talked me through the whole buying process and also got me a great rate!! A big thank you to Dan and his team for making my purchase so easy, would 100% recommend them over anyone else in the area

View Agents TenantOverall Poor Experience - Avoid as a tenant
When we initially moved into the property we were provided with misleading information regarding council tax band and parking from the agent who conducted the viewing - both deciding factors for settling on the property.
Upon move out, the company refused to action the release of our deposit from the protection scheme in a timely manner despite being asked twice by the landlord of the property himself to do so. We effectively had to wait for almost a month longer than should have been necessary to receive the deposit back.
All in all, not a positive experience and will be avoiding as both a future tenant and prospective buyer.

YellYour Move Whitton TW2 - what a waste of time.
Would you trust a Company who advised a Vendor to accept an offer from a client with no mortgage in place instead of a cash offer - this on a property that is unmortgageable because it has no kitchen and needs complete renovation? We made the cash offer of the full asking price and wonder why on earth any reputable estate agent wouldn't urge their Vendor to grab the offer with both hands. Whitton Your Move didn't and we are still wondering why. In our opinion, not a straightforward Company to do business with.

GoogleThe most unprofessional agent that i have ever met. They advice in choosing a property, the way they sign contract and their support were simply terrible. Their agents are really unprofessional they transfer my deposit to somebody else's account and it cause some problems for me. In addition, when i was signing a contract they told me they have standard contract format but it wasn't. I don't know what would happen to me without the Advice of Citizen Advice Bureau. I trust Your-Move and it cost too much for me. I have already told to lots of students at Kingston university ... Don't work with this agent..
