Reeds Rains in Rye have been brilliant from the start of my journey with them. Guy came out to my house which was my late Mothers, and was extremely understanding of how difficult it all was for me. He put together an amazing video of the property and marketed it just as I had hoped. Fast forward to having a buyer, and Hannah has been amazing. Lots of contact at every step, especially just before and during exchange. I’d definitely recommend them. Thank you for everything.

I found all the staff at the Rye office very friendly and helpful. That was particularly important as I was selling a second home and lived at a distance of over 3 hrs drive, so was unable to be present for utility inspections or final meter readings, which they managed for me.

Lydia has been incredibly helpful in helping us secure a property to let in the village I grew up in. Her communication was sublime, she made us feel valued and took any and all of our concerns and queries seriously, was never patronising or belittling when we asking simple questions. Helpful the whole way through background administration / reference checks etc and reassuring through this process which can feel invasive. Never once felt judged, Lydia is a total proffersional and made the whole process stress free and as enjoyable as moving can be. When me and my partner decided to move to Rye we found the perfect 2 bed cottage with Reed Rains. Looking for a rental property is always stressful when you’re moving to different town, but Lydia Barnes was super helpful and made everything so easy. She quickly figured out what we were looking for and got in touch when something that fit the bill came onto the market. The tenancy application process was also super straightforward and Lydia supported us throughout. It felt like she was there to find us something good, whereas other estate agents in the area felt a lot less personable and less on our side.
