I honestly can’t thank the team at Your Move New Cross enough for helping, or, more accurately, making, the sale of my property happen! Phil and his team worked tirelessly throughout the whole process, going above and beyond with constant, open and honest communication, regular updates, chasing solicitors (probably more than they ever wanted to!), and generally keeping things moving when I’m sure it would have been very easy for them to just leave it to the solicitors. It was genuinely a pleasure to work with the team. I never felt like I was being passed from one person to another, there was always someone who knew what was going on and was happy to help. When choosing an estate agent, I wanted a personal touch rather than feeling like another cog in the wheel, and Phil absolutely delivered on that. He has been fantastic throughout and, without his persistence and hard work, I honestly don’t think the sale would have happened when it did. I’d highly recommend Phil and the team at Your Move New Cross, and im recommending them to everyone!

I am completely appalled by the services provided by New Cross Your Move. I lived in one of their properties for 3 years, consistently a well paying, good tenant. There were a few issues as we moved in regarding not having a lot of the place ready as we were promised but we saw beyond this and enjoyed the house for 3 years. I moved out October 2024, and still haven’t had my deposit repaid, after having it confirmed several times it would be. I have rang twice a week for the last couple of months as well as email upon email where I simply do not receive a response. Do not put your money with this company.

We’ve now bought and sold through Your Move Estate Agents and had a great experience both times. We originally bought our flat through them a few years ago, and when it came time to sell and buy somewhere bigger, we went straight back. They ended up being the agent selling the house we bought too, which made the whole process way smoother. Phil and his team were amazing, from start to finish, everything moved professionally and quickly from their side. Communication was clear and consistent, the photos and listing of our flat looked great and went up really fast, and any questions we had were answered straight away. I would like to give my highest recommendation to Phil​ Cantell, my estate agent from Your Move. He has been so helpful and kind throughout the whole process of selling my property. I only listed my house with Your Move, and within just 2 weeks I received an offer and the sale went through. Phil explained everything to me very clearly and always answered my questions with patience and care. He followed up on every request with my solicitor and supported me right up until the last day. When there were delays with the money being transferred to my account, he even chased my solicitors on my behalf. Without his help, I could have been left homeless, as I had to leave my house by 1 pm but had no money to travel or stay anywhere. I cannot read, and my English is not very strong. I trusted Phil completely to handle all the documents, communication with the buyer, and coordination with the solicitors. He went the extra mile for me in every way, and I will always be grateful for his kindness, care, and professionalism. Phil brokered a final agreed purchase price All through the process Phil would take phone calls or text messages In the mean time I had sold my flat , with the prospect of having to put all my furniture into storage , Phil negotiated with my vendor as the property was vacant , and we were allowed to store all my furniture in my future flat even before exchange. He even turned up and helped me and my dad carry the furniture up two flights of stairs! I have now exchanged contracts and move into my new home next week. Your Move New Cross not only made our sale possible, but they truly had our back throughout - especially branch manager Phil Cantell. They said they would, but truly exceeded expectations. They gave sensible pricing advice and got the property on the market in all the usual places. When we had two offers they guided us in choosing the right one. They spent a lot of time extracting replies from our large freeholder, completing enquiries and satisfying mortgage providers regarding fire risk / cladding. You'd think that would be enough, but when things weren't as straightforward as hoped they facilitated meetings; hounded our useless solicitors; were a go-between and keyholders for an extraordinary storage solution. Perhaps the most important thing is that this was all done with an assuredness. They've been in the area for years, have dealt with our freeholder before, dealt with cladding. This gave us confidence when we were freaking out - sometimes Phil would be chasing more than I was to get something resolved. And the little things mattered to - the phone was picked up. Emails and voice messages were replied to within a normal timeframe. We didn't once have to hassle them, and the office was open at the stated hours if we needed to drop in. We tried selling via another high street agent before but it failed - the difference in service was night and day. And all for a most competitive fee. I don't know everyone's names in the branch but Michael, Nathan and especially Phil restored my faith in Estate Agents and then some.
