I cannot recommend Maria at Your Move highly enough for anyone looking to sell their property. While Your Move is a large national brand, Maria’s level of local insight was far superior to the independent agents I spoke with, as she understood the nuances of our specific location and buyer demographic perfectly. Selling a home is of course stressful, but she managed the entire process with a level of professionalism and commitment that exceeded all my expectations. Maria's communication was truly exceptional; I was never left wondering what was happening because she was always proactive with clear and consistent updates, coordinating with solicitors and the other agents in the chain far better than the estate agent managing our property purchase! She really proved her worth when managing a set of particularly difficult buyers... Maria acted as the perfect buffer, remaining incredibly calm yet firm under pressure to ensure my interests were protected without letting the situation escalate. I am incredibly grateful to Maria and the team and cannot recommend them highly enough.

I was very impressed with Your Move at Eltham and I'm so pleased I instructed them to sell my mother's flat in Friars Mews, following her move into a residential care home in April. Laura was my main contact and she was on top of things from day 1. She kept me updated regularly and went beyond the call of duty, for example, helping me arrange for the removal of unwanted furniture. Living near to Heathrow and working myself, I was unable to visit the property as much as I'd liked to have done, so it was reassuring to know that I could leave the keys with Laura & co and they would take care of everything on my behalf. Very disappointed, very poor communication. I had to constantly chase them regarding a property. The property then had works done so went off market, came back on the market I emailed immediately as we were very interested. Had a call from Maria who said she would give me a call back, it’s now 3 weeks later and haven’t heard a thing. Given up with this estate agent now. Would not recommend.

She always responds promptly to my queries and does her best to help. I have full confidence in her ability to work through all the pitfalls involved in selling a property. As an update to this review...Maria managed to negotiate a quicker than expected completion date that helped me considerably with my sale. If you want experienced, helpful and confident negotiators that provide a stress free sale than this is a good estate agent to use.

I've been with Your Move in Eltham for over a year. While we've had positive experiences with previous agencies and landlords, our current situation has been a nightmare. The property was dirty upon moving in, requiring professional cleaning and painting. Despite reporting issues, like a conservatory leak, for over 3 months, the agency/landlord response has been lacking. The slippery conservatory floor poses a safety risk, and despite informing the agency, resolution is delayed. We requested early termination, agreed upon by the landlord 3 months ago, contingent on fixing the leak. Now, facing unexpected redundancy and a lengthy 2 hour commute with a toddler, the situation is untenable, especially given my pregnancy. Communication with the agency, particularly Ben and Marcus, has been unhelpful and unprofessional. Despite numerous complaints, the system remains unchanged.

The whole experience has been awful, including the company policies. A very slow contract coming through which after paying a holding deposit 6 weeks before move in date we received the contract the day before, and confusion over rent agreed. We agreed on paying monthly and then the landlord demanded 6 months in advance and we finally settled on 3 months after understanding the landlord would pull out otherwise and if we pulled out then we'd lose our holding deposit. We're a family with two young children so to be provided with this ultimatum is unprofessional and frankly unacceptable and the experience very uncomfortable and stressful. The Landlord is now being difficult to work with! We've had to really push for the boiler to get fixed!!!! This is turning into a renting nightmare and what's worse is the yourmove out of hours number did not work yesterday. Outrageous.

I walked in and introduced myself to Filipe and he listened to attentively to my needs and requirements. From the first meeting with Rob for the valuation he immediately created a very good impression with his local knowledge of the market and solid experience in sales. I cancelled the remaining appointments with other agents and signed up with YourMove Eltham as sole agent. The family home of 45yrs (owned by 3 family members) was being sold following a period of bereavement after the passing of one of the owners. From the onset, there was some disagreement amongst the family as to how the estate should be managed. Rob and Laura were able to navigate through this minefield of family conflicts in a polite, professional and diplomatic manner whilst also keeping the buyers onboard.
