The initial viewing and negotiating was dealt with ok as the vendors were really quite keen to sell and we were keen to buy so there wasn’t much for the agents to worry about. The problem was with the customer service received thereafter. There was barely any follow up unless I was the one chasing or giving them an update myself. It took a long time to exchange for various reasons but in the end when I did complete, the agents didn’t even think to tell me when the keys could be collected. I waited until 5pm on the day of completion for a call after having called 3/4 times already and popping in with my kids that morning that day... and it turned out that lady I was liaising with had already gone home without updating me and my keys had been ready to collect for a few hours already. I was very disappointed with this service and I didn’t even get a call to say sorry the next day which I was even more annoyed with. Overall not very happy with the service received despite them being very friendly.. I wouldn’t use them to rent my properties out going forward, that’s for sure.

Thank you for your feedback we are very sorry to note your comments surrounding your experience purchasing a property through us. Just to clarify by law we are not able to release keys until we have had confirmation from the solicitor that the sale has competed. At the time (3pm) when our colleague left the office for the day we had still not had confirmation that the property had completed. Another colleague received confirmation from the solicitor that the purchase had completed later that afternoon at which point he notified you. We appreciate delays are very frustrating and if you felt that this was not communicated to you correctly we do apologise. If you wish to discuss this further please feel free to give us a call.

Danielle and Julie have been amazing at Newton Fallowell. Especially Danielle for talking me through the process even though I was the buyer. I hit a few bumps along the process like the solicitors pulling out at the last minute. However Newton Fallowell came through with their local business knowledge and ability to source professional experts in the conveyancing field. This shows that Newton Fallowell are not one dimensional and coupled with their property market knowledge make them a breeze to work with. They took the time out to explain things to me, even when it was not their responsibility; this is an example of wonderful customer service. They always made sure I understood everything and put me in the best position to make the right decisions for myself. The support I got from Danielle was second to none, especially from being buyer with no knowledge. She explained everything to me, she understood how stressful the process can be, she showed patience and impoartantly Danielle ensured I received a first class service all the way through to the end. Relaying messages back and forth with the vendor was made so easy through Danielle. Immensely helpful!! I was always made to feel like a customer rather than a number. Danielle is definitely an asset to Newton Fallowell. Thank you for everything; especially a great experience.

We’ve sold our house just before Christmas. Julie Naylor was our estate agent. She was very professional and thorough with her work. Always kept us informed with the progress of our sale. At times we were disheartened with the delay but Julie was always there to support us and guide us. Whenever Julie was away on holiday, she made sure that her office kept us informed with the sales progress. I would highly recommend Newton Fallowell, as they provide very efficient and amazing service with reasonable price. All the staffs were very polite and helpful.

A friend of the family recommended this estate agent to us. We were a bit worried about having to deal with pushy estate agents as always seems to have been the case in the past. A bit of a revelation though as this team seem to really care. Great customer service. Just what we needed when trying to sort out the sale of my uncle's house. I genuinely don’t think I would have survived this house buying process with anyone other than Vicki. She was always at the other end of the email, answering my questions, she rang me with all the updates I could need. Plus she always made sure I was calm. I saw many estate agents when we decided it was time to move house and there was no doubt in my mind when I first met Nicola and Vicki that I was going to chose them. They were the only ones who were not pushy at all. This was the first time we had to sell and buy and when we started the process I had no idea how to do it. They explained everything and answered all our questions no matter how simple or complicated they were. They were absolutely amazing from start to finish. They made what is a very stressful process as easy as possible and I can't thank them enough.
