GoogleWe chose Newton Fallowell on the basis of their excellent reputation and were not disappointed. The manager, Adam, was superb in personally overseeing our purchase and sale. Everyone in the office was proactive and kept us well informed of the progress of the whole transaction, to enable a smooth and well coordinated purchase and sale. Well done and thank you to all involved for a highly professional service. We recommend the team at the Stamford office unreservedly.

This Estate agents is the worst around. We had been going through a purchase of property that took 10 months to never complete. One issue after another and the service from Amy and Oliver wasn’t good. Oliver couldn’t keep track of the lies he was telling from day one saying he had spoken directly to the seller’s solicitors and he never did. Saying he had “ contacts to contact people about a one going issue with the property we trying to purchase”to then suddenly he had no idea what we was on about. We would phone to talk to either Amy or Oliver for an update on the property from a previous phone call a week before. To Amy not being kept in the loop and have no idea what has happened in her time away. Communication between the both of them needs to be worked on. Amy sent multiple emails stating that the delay was from our side of the chain and that we were the reason the sale hadn’t completed yet. When we had sold our property and moved out a few days prior to receiving this email. Out of fear that our buyers were going to pull out. Now fast forward 3 months since our sale and the purchase never went through. We were expected to pay out even more money into a property we yet didn’t own to change the title deeds . So we cut our losses and pulled out. After months of stress and anxiety from being told the seller was going to pull their lower offer on the property if it wasn’t complete in 2 weeks. To then them saying they have no idea what we are talking about when we have email proof of this. The treatment was unacceptable. They don’t care about the customer purchasing. Also Amy claiming we was completing on day that our solicitor hadn’t even agreed to and hadn’t agreed with us as the buyers and none of us knew anything about it other then Amy and the sellers solicitors and they expected a 48 hour turn around which was never going to happen as the property couldn’t be bought with a mortgage in the end anyway. It got to the point our solicitor told us to stop communicating with the staff as they were causing more complications and giving out false information from sellers solicitors.

A bespoke contact name at Newton Fallowell would, I feel, have been helpful from the outset. Although for me it was a lengthy and stressful process, David and his team got me there in the end for which I am very grateful.

GoogleBuying a home is never as simple as you hope, and my journey definitely had its challenges, but having Amy as my estate agent made all the difference. From start to finish, she was absolutely incredible. Even when things didn’t go smoothly, Amy stayed calm, supportive, and completely committed to helping me through every step. Her communication was excellent, always keeping me informed and reassured, and she went above and beyond to make sure everything stayed on track. What really stood out was her genuine care and patience, nothing ever felt like too much trouble. I honestly don’t think I would have got through the process without her support. If you’re looking for someone reliable, dedicated, and genuinely on your side, I couldn’t recommend Amy more highly. She’s a real credit to her profession. GoogleAmy is amazing!! Due to the solicitors in the chain procrastinating over an extended period Amy took control and literally project managed the other parties from initial sale to completion. I cannot recommend her highly enough. She gave us regular updates and was always available to chat over what the best course of action would be.

GoogleApparently Newton Fallowell believe that they only need to get a quote, it doesn't matter if a contractor is appropriately qualified to current standards...cost £3800 to rectify after contractor who'd changed fence panel and quoted to fix crack in render was assigned to do a full re-roof at prevailing professional rate but did a job that qualified roofer states shows specific examples of being done by unqualified contractor...battens floating, not attached half and half over rafter, quality of mortar not to British Standards, short course of tiles. Reported complaint, with photos as illustration so they could ask their own qualified roofer for opinion but won't engage. Didn't even follow The Property Ombudsman code until I was told how they should behave by TPO and contacted Peter Sandy who TPO have as contact. Other Letting Agents do use appropriately qualified contractors, a roofer to do a roofing job such as a full re-roof. Complaint logged with TPO.

GoogleA fantastic service from James Hammond, overall extremely pleased with the communication, friendliness and his professionalism. The viewing was nicely timed without being rushed and follow-up emails sent on as promised. Having used Newton Fallowell as agents quite a few years ago for my rental properties & now a tenant myself - it really is a refreshing change to know that you are in good hands. I do believe that they are a company that are looking after the best interests of both the tenants and landlords. Highly recommended !
