Once Newton Fallowell, Lincoln received my holding deposit for a rental property their communication virtually stopped. Even the owner/director isn’t responding to my emails. I have been told the holding deposit may not be returned as per agreement, however their poor service should be justification for returning my money. Appalling

It was clear from the start that the team has a fantastic understanding of the Newark area. Their valuation was realistic and fair, avoiding the trap of over-promising just to get the listing. This honest pricing structure meant we attracted genuine interest quickly. They truly handled every single relevant task from start to finish, keeping us updated constantly so we never had to chase for information. A massive shout-out must go to Rick, who was absolutely outstanding. He went above and beyond our expectations to ensure the sale crossed the line. GoogleI recently used Newton and Fallowell Burton in aid to find a new rental property for my family and me. Although the outcome was not what we had hoped for during the application process which is no fault to anyone just Landlords discretion and we fully understand this, I can honestly say I have never worked or dealt with more caring, supportive, humble, kind and just ultimately all round lovely team of people. From start to finish of the process Jayne assisted at the end of the phone and email with detail and processing along with going above and beyond for reassurance and just all round endearing support of our situation. An absolute credit to the business. Alongside Jayne, Ben welcomed our family to the property for viewing and was absolutely wonderful, a true gentleman and my children loved him. He was very kind with his honesty on the process so we knew exactly how many other applications there were and also in being open about this being completely down to the landlords discretion who ultimately would be accepted. Bens approach, kindness and invaluable openness was brilliant. This level of service is not received across the Industry generally, which I am finding now during my own process to re-home is uncommon. For this I am truly thankful and do hope these guys are an example to the rest of the industry when dealing with worried, distressed, concerned and overwhelmed clients as it goes such a long way even if the result isn’t what you wished for. GoogleAwful experience, we were rug-pulled last minute when a flat was taken back off the market after we had already agreed a cross-country move in date. We were the offered a "similar property" in the same area which we had little choice but to accept with less than a week before starting new jobs. This place was filthy, mouldy, and had clearly not been renovated since the property was constructed + was missing the fridge freezer advertised in the brochure they showed us! During our time in the property they attempted to unlawfully increase our rent, and when I challenged their figures based on the clause in THEIR contract, I received an angry email, seemingly upset that I called them out While living in this property we also suffered several electrical faults - you could tell the power was fluctuating as the hoover got louder and quieter, it also caused the TV and other electronics to shut down due to voltage spikes. I seriously wouldn't recommend this agent to my worst enemy and had I been a more experienced renter at the time I likely would've taken them to court over the mold and lack of insulation.

GoogleI've just had the pleasant experience of purchasing my first home through Newton Fallowell. They were brilliant with arranging multiple viewings for me to re-visit the property throughout the process. Amy was very clear with her communication and was great at chasing up with solicitors and keeping me informed any time it felt like the process was stagnating. Upon completion I was given a box of useful goodies for my new home and a lovely printed painting of my house. I've also got years of experience renting from them as a Tenant for the past 3 years since my property got acquired by their portfolio. They've been incredible with handling repairs whenever needed on the property and have an easy to use online portal for reporting issues.

GoogleI have been with Newton and Fallowell for nearly 8 year's. I lived in one property for 7 year's. However, i unfortunately had to move due to a nuisance neighbour. The team went above and beyond to relocate me. They also resolve any maintenance issues in a timely fashion. I highly recommend this estate agency.
