Phoned up to view a rental property. I was bombarded with personal questions which should only of been asked if I had decided to proceed with said property. I was then told that she had to ask landlord if I could view and she’d ring me back. The tone of the lady was awful, if I couldn’t afford the property I wouldn’t have rang to view it. No one phoned back to either confirm or reflect my viewing.

I have just completed a property sale and have been very satisfied with the NF Retford team’s service. A fair and realistic sale price was achieved and the sale completed in 2 months start to finish which is a great result for everyone concerned. Whenever I rang or called in I was always received friendly but professional service. A question over the phone was always dealt with promptly and when they say they will call back, they do - quickly and with the information I needed, no matter who you spoke to in the office, they all pitch in and take ownership of the issue. How many firms can you say that about ? Reasonable fee too. When selling the biggest asset you own, just ignore the silly tv adverts and choose a real and local company. Thoroughly recommended from me !

I have been renting a house via the agency Newton and Fallowell (Retford) since November. I was quite surprised after having viewed houses with other estate agencies: the process with Newton and Fallowell was efficient and straight forward. There was no messing about. Viewed the house within 2 hours of making the call to inquire about the house. When I expressed my interest, they got the ball rolling. I was so used to being told I had to wait because other people needed to view the house as well, even after saying that I was interested in the house(s). I have recently sold my house through Newton Fallowell. Being a period five bedroom property valued at the upper end of the local market, the right Agent for the sale was essential to me. I required a firm that was very professional, would give continuous feedback, capable of Good adaptive marketing and with high quality brochure and photographs. Throughout, Newton Fallowell adapted to changing circumstances with variances on the marketing and the brochure. Throughout I had a close relationship with Millie at the office, who I found to be very professional not only with myself but also on viewings which which she undertook on my behalf and eventually negotiated a successful sale. I have no hesitation in recommending the firm to any proposed seller (and perhaps buyer) in the local market
