Sally, Tom and the team worked so hard, solved every problem, and enabled my parents move to succeed. When my mum fell ill and was unable to be involved any further, Sally went above and beyond to help our family to keep the move going. Tom carried out some great communications to keep the move on track .My family and my parents couldn’t have got through this move without the Swadlincote team. Thank you.

Sold the house but had no contact whatsoever after the sale sign went up checking on the progress of the sale which took several months. Would have given more stars if more contact was made. Didn't feel like paying nearly 2k was justified because of this but otherwise no issues.

Very disappointed with the level of service and care. Photographs were disappointing and didn't show the house off to its best potential. I therefore had to take my own photos to up uploaded onto the website. Once we had sold there was barely any communication with updates from the agents who were supposed to be chasing the chain and keeping us informed with what was happening. I was even told that it was not the agents job to do this chasing but our solicitors, this of course was incorrect. When the company came to change the for sale board to a new one as the old one had blown off they left loads of pieces over our front garden, not very appealing for people looking at buying the house. The fact we paid them double what we paid the solicitors for little or no work was ridiculous and they didn't seem to ever go out of their way to make selling less stressful and easier.

Grantham Branch

I travelled up from Essex to the Grantham branch to view a flat in Albert Street. The agent was late because he was waiting at the wrong property. I finally got access to find I'd been booked in to view the wrong address. Good job it was only £60 return.Not much of a wasted day then. I got the distinct impression they thought I was below their station. Even the estate agent who sold my property got a frosty reception. Incompetent.

We thoroughly recommend Newton Fallowell in Oakham if you are looking to buy or sell your house. From Peter's first visit to value our house we we entirely assured that they would not only sell our house, but that they would do their up most to find us our next dream home and they certainly achieved this. I've been impressed by the professional attitude maintained by all of the NF Oakham team - they always answered the phone and returned calls as soon as possible, they kept to timings of appointments, and were polite and kind throughout. Buying and selling has been probably the most stressful thing I've ever done, but Charlotte was there with us the whole time supporting us and ensuring that we were fully informed of everything that was going on. Charlotte and Peter, thank you SO much - we would never have moved without you, and we certainly wouldn't have found our dream home. We have been recommending you to our friends already and will continue to do so!

There isn’t a single weak link in this chain. Every member of staff was perfectly professional and on top of things. A special mention has to go to James for securing an excellent price for our house. His level of communication with us was exceptional. Found us a buyer in 4 days! Communication was great and they earned their fee with the legal chasing. We had to pay extra for a professional photographer and although this really helped sell the house fast we felt this should be part of the package from the start. It wasn't an expensive add on and we could have saved a week in time. I would recommend Newton Fallowell in Oakham without hesitating.

Market Deeping Branch: never answer the phone, it always transfers to someone at another branch who knows nothing about the property you're enquiring about, takes your number says the branch will call you back - never do. Got through after trying numerous times every day - they must have been waiting for a call from their local takeaway or something and answered by mistake, asked them for some information from the Vendor - usual brush off - will find out and get back to me - still waiting for the call that's never gunna happen. Just what are Vendors paying them for cuz they aint never gonna sell their house for them with zero effort.
