Hi Weybudur, firstly here at Mann Sydenham we appreciate all feedback, whether that maybe positive or negative. I am sorry to hear you were not happy with your experience with us. As explained at the time, it is not within our control as to whether the owner of any given property would accept a tenant, the final decision is always theirs. If you remember there were multiple offers on the property at the time and unfortunately the landlord did not feel yours was the strongest option for him. I would hope as with any previous potential tenant this would not deter you from applying for a property with Mann as we would always endeavour to give you highest level of client experience regardless of the outcome of any negotiation. GoogleWas generally impressed with Mann Lettings: they are very friendly and efficient, and we liked them personally. However, we were promised one thing that never materialised, and the fees were on the high side.

I’m glad our humanity shone through our dealings with yourself and your partner, we could not have asked for more as you were perfect clients and we would be happy to do so again. In relation to the 4 star rating, unfortunately in this instance as I’m sure you are now aware, we were working on behalf of one of our major corporate clients who have their own fee structure in place of which we have no influence over, however I can assure you we price check our fees against local and national agents on a monthly basis to ensure our the clients at Mann Lettings are receiving competitive rates and service at every opportunity. However if the time should come again just ask for myself, Daniel the Lettings Manger, and I will be happy to extend our “Mann Loyalty Discount” which I hope will be a little added reason as to why to choose Mann Lettings again.

GoogleWhere to begin? I think it's best not to, the only thing good I can possibly say about Mann and Co are Daniel Sarpong and Carmel (don't know her surname)who completely salvaged a small portion of their reputation in my eyes, the whole firm was like a circus, I had tenants moved in without proper references which led to my payment protection insurance being void leaving me at the mercy of my tenants who were late paying 80% of the time, Daniel and Carmel were both like Knights in shining armour who did the best that they could with what they were thrown into but I have nothing positive to say about the firm other than those two who deserve far better than working for Countrywide. In summing up, I had planned to rent my property and cash it in when I was 60, Mann and Co persuaded me otherwise with their shoddy and unprofessional approach to managing my property which was supposed to be stress free but was anything but, if you got the chance to infect yourself with the plague or deal with Mann and Co than the plague is much more appealing and I advise it more than allowing the Sydenham branch of Mann and co to manage your property. Other than that it was alright.
Hi Marc, Thanks for taking the time to detail your constructive feedback, I appreciate your mention of myself in a positive light as since taking over the branch a year ago now we have made significant changes to our business operations and are now a heavily customer focused led office as I’m sure you experienced within the later stages of your tenancy. Although I was not here when these problems initially occurred I would still like to express the following, we at Mann Sydenham pride ourselves on providing market leading levels of customer satisfaction and would urge you to try this out for yourself under the new management, I would also go further by stating as with any landlord who has received a less than satisfactory service in previous years I would offer 3 months of free management for your property to experience what our current landlords on this page are seeing for themselves.
