They are mismanaged organisation. They do not respond to phone calls, messages and emails after you view a property and deposit the money. Our move from Glasgow to Dartford was full of hassles. We came all the way from Glasgow to Dartford, collected the key to check in to the property but the property was being painted. We (my family of four including a newborn) had to wait for a week before we could move. That one week was passed with lots of stress, unnecessary cost, discomfort and pain. One can never imagine this. I complained to the customer care, but couldn’t get any responsible and accountable response. I do not recommend anyone and will never work again with MANN.

Holly was absolutely brilliant throughout the whole letting process. She was extremely helpful, friendly, and very quick to respond, which made a huge difference for us. While searching for properties, we spoke with many agents and often found that responses were slow or limited, but Holly really stood out. She was always on hand, kept us updated, and helped us with everything from start to finish. The whole process was very fast and smooth, and Holly made it feel stress-free. She was professional, approachable, and genuinely supportive, almost like one of our own, which we really appreciated.

I’ve never had such a smooth experience. Suk took us through the house viewing and was very patient , kind and informative . Most agents would rush you through the process but he made sure all our concerns and questions were addressed. Holly took us on and was so professional and understanding. She made sure that she explained everything in detail so there was no room for any doubts or open ended feelings. Everything is so well organised and precise. I started my journey to sell my flat in Crayford with Mann Estate Agents in December 2023. The initial valuation and visit from Shaun was really helpful in understanding my options before listing with them in April when I was ready. The property was vacant throughout this time and Shaun, Rebecca, Rachel and Fletch managed the process (and my expectations) excellently throughout. I had 2 property viewings confirmed almost immediately upon listing and the one prospect buyer who visited the property made an offer at asking price which was accepted. As a shared ownership property, it took some time and I eventually entered a chain for my new home. Rebecca and Rachel were *on it*, diligent and helping with the chain and the various solicitors involved in the chain. When things got hairy during the process, they were great in pushing on my behalf and giving me much needed reassurance. I couldn't be happier to have them represent me for my sale as I moved across the country in time for Christmas. I thoroughly recommend them to anybody in the local area looking to sell, they have great experience with the shared ownership process especially and their man management is second to none. Avoid for the sake of your sanity. Used Mann to let our house as we had to move abroad for work. Tim is a great salesman and to be fair is good at his job. However, don't let this draw you in as once the property is let, you won't be dealing with Tim but with the other incompetent and unethical staff working at Mann. Some (of many) issues include: - Very slow responses to emails, needing to chase multiple times - Important emails consistently only getting sent to one owner of the property, despite repeated requests for both to be copied in, apparently because this is how their system works (if this is the case the system is not fit for purpose) - Failure to chase rent payments - for 3 months in a row they only seemed to know the rent was late when I raised that it hadn't been paid - Unethical practices. Mann acknowledged over email a mistake with a tradesman, and agreed to send someone to fix a job for no charge. They then repeatedly delayed the repair, only to renege on their commitment once our management contract had ended, in a clear violation of professional standards. We have raised a complaint with the ombudsman but highly recommend anyone reading this spares themselves the pain. The whole experience was highly stressful and I can't imagine much better for the tenants either.

It's been a long sale (10 months) and, particularly near the end, I felt I had to drive it and chase left, right and centre to get things over the line. However, this seems to be pretty standard in my experience, whether buying or selling, as unfortunately no-one seems to call each other - rather they send emails that then take a week or more to respond to... What I can say is that, whenever I called Mann to chase the buyer's solicitors on my (or my solicitor's) behalf, Fletcher and the team were friendly, professional and helpful throughout. I should also add Mann acted as my letting agent for a number of years prior to the sale, and Tim was absolutely brilliant on the lettings side and a pleasure to deal with.

Very unprofessional and rude staff. Once agreement done they will keep passing responsibility between landlord and letting Agent. I will say if letting Agent is Mann then please run away. Once agreement done you will be trapped. Key collection - They escalated for 15min delay and told they will not give key because we are late. I told them I have small kid but the response was really bad. Moving in first day - Nobody came to house to assist. Where is gas meter,electric meter,water meter,parking.. nothing they explained. House was really dirty. When we tried to contact them. They told to contact landlord. When we tried to contact landlord she told to contact letting Agent. Just passing responsibility. We struggle ourself to find everything. First week after Moving in- we were really frustrated with condition of house and letting/landlord behaviour. We told them that we want to move out for which response was we have to pay rent for 1 year. Come on you are giving dirty house, not fixing broken stuff and asking us 1 year rent. For every fixing they asked us to contact landlord for which landlord never responded or responded after one month. 9 month same property- We somehow managed to spend 9 month in property and told them that we will be moving out after 1 year contract end date. Now letting Agent became active and give us long list of things which we have to clean/fix before moving out. 11month same property- letting agent told few people will be coming to see property and we have to be available at that time. We agreed as per time provided by agent. First time they cancelled visit. Second time they came late by 1hour. Come on for your case you cannot stand 15min delay and for tenant multiple delay/cancellation is ok?. Finally we moved out after 1 year of harassment. I wish I can give Negative STAR. Never Never go for Mann letting Agent

So I must say, I am compelled to write this review. I had the privilege of having Mann as our goto when looking for our first home as new couple. We have been cared for by Ethan and ohhh God. This man took all the stress that comes with looking for a house in this day and age and left us to enjoy the days as we waited. He was so patient and kind, diligent and committed to making sure that we have everything that we need and everything we need to know however small or irrelevant we think the documents might be. When I walked into the office for the final meeting, everyone was so welcoming even the managers as well. Tim and Fatma came to our rescue when we had put our flat on the market to rent. We had been through and spoke to most of the local competition, to which we were either not confident in or they were not competitive in price. As first time landlords we were not fully clued up on the process with but with Fatma and Tim’s guidance they found a great tenant (so far :D) and also gave us confidence our property is in good hands. Mann, Tim and Fatma were always to hand and kept us in the loop, even whilst Tim was OOTO he was still replying to our queries when he could which is going above and beyond.

I am currently in the process of selling my flat through Mann. Appalling service, I must say. Have been trying to call all day, leaving a message to get a call back, but nobody had responded. Agreed the cash sale of the property over 3 weeks ago, but it has not progressed any further and we are not being given any reason for the delay. If this goes on much longer, we may lose the property we are trying to purchase. Alex has been great up to this point, but the "admin team" are seemingly the cause of this delay, and I can't understand why it's taking this long.
