Review specific to Ashford, KENT letting branchThe staff there are inept and one of them openly racist.They laugh at you when you have a problem, they delay everything The only people they are interested in are the landlords. The tenants are just ATM's on legs.Do NOT deal with them, just go direct with a landlord, it's not like there is any use for estate agents in 2019.They are unregulated and staffed by sociopaths that couldn't find a job in any REAL profession

Visit a property at Portsmouth for renting we are really disappointed from estate agent. Really she don't care, she promise as to send a form - nothing 3 days, reason to not get the printer not work, she did not sent nothing on my email, not answer on my Phone message. Really dodgy and discriminatory Behavior because we are not British!Waste time and money to travel from Guildford to Portsmouth, just to happen this, really unprofesinal work. Defenttly when Come the time soon to buying home not be from this Agency!!!

GoogleHere is the story and I will let u judge. I called up Mann lettings a week back about a property for rental. That property was live on the website for 2 hours when I called. When I spoke to someone I was told that there has been a lot of interest in the property and the earliest that they could do was 6 days in future (clue no 1) to which I agreed. A day before the visit I was called and told that they will have to cancel my appointment as the person currently renting is not available at the date and time to allow access to the property and they don't know when is the next availability (clue no 2 ). In the same breath I was told that 'luckily' they have another property in the same building but the rental is 150 pounds more (clue no 3). Although I could not find 'that' property advertised in any of the rental portals. Luckily for me I have not given notice to my landlord so I have a place to stay although I might be at disadvantage while searching for property but I am wondering if there is a person who is desparately looking for a property and does not have enough time would that person give in to a stalling tactics and maybe at least agree to an appointment to visit a flat which is higher than he/she originally budgeted for and might be forced to up his budget, definately yes. If this is true then some of the lettings agency might be frauding guillible people with this modes operandi. For me this was surely not a pleasant experience.

GoogleA HUGE thank you to Sarah and Simon at Mann and Co in Redhill. NOTHING was too much trouble. Not once did an enquiry or a phone call go unanswered …...quite often at quite unsociable hours. They went all out to help and despite quite difficult circumstances at times their professionalism was second to none. The result was a very successful outcome and I would not hesitate to recommend their services.

GoogleSuperb, absolutely superb. After a bad experience with one of these new-fangled "agents" (Purple Bricks - avoid like the plague!!) Sarah and her team in Redhill showed the new pretenders how it's done. We had proper, thorough discussions both pre-valuation and post, with a full understanding of the house, the marketplace and how best to position it. We even had viewings booked before we had approved the advert - again the is the mark of a real estate agent who has a database of clients and can work a real consultative sell with them. In comparison, Purple Bricks et al wouldn't begin to dream of (or be able to) offer anything like an active trawl of their database, they rely entirely on online hits. Once the viewings occurred Sarah kept us up to date with feedback - even if there wasn't any she was easy to get hold of and always proactive in contacting us to tell us so. Within 3 weeks we had an offer which we accepted and the service didn't suddenly stop, it continued until we had the money in our bank. Sarah is superb at keeping solicitors moving, at pushing mortgage companies to pull their finger put when they're being slow, and at consulting with buyers when they start asking strange questions. She is patient with everyone and keeps her team well apprised of the status at all times, in case she's not available they will be fully prepared to offer an update. All in all I wouldn't use anyone else, and I certainly wouldn't touch the new kids on the block, they have no idea how far behind they are in comparison.

GoogleMann took the sale of my property over after it had been languishing on the market for some months. They worked with me to get it moving - and although the first buyer fell through, within two days I had a new one. Amy in particular was unremittingly responsive, friendly and helpful - it was always a pleasure to get messages from her and know that she had things in hand. The whole team was helpful and good to work with, I would definitely recommend Mann over the other local agents I tried previously.
