I had a lot of trouble trying to book a viewing for somewhere through other estate agents originally, first call I made to Abbotts a viewing was sorted out for me which was fantastic. They kept me up to date with the process and made sure to chase relevant parties and were super friendly the whole time. Could not recommend more.

GoogleI see a lot of 5 star reviews are from when people just sign into a new property with them, they’ll be charming and prompt with replies when they’re also taking your money, wait until you have to deal with them when your tenancy is over and it’ll be hell.

GoogleI am sad to be writing a negative review as the lettings manager we dealt with when we rented the property was professional and very helpful. The property was managed by the landlord after that. However. when it came to the return of the security deposit at the end of the tenancy, we made enquiries when we had heard nothing 7 days after a very prompt agreement with the landlord. We were told that the deposit had been paid out that day. This was a lie. We finally received the deposit after 10 days, which is the maximum amount of time specified in the deposit scheme terms. This was clearly intended to maximise the interest they earned on the deposit. If you want your deposit back “without delay”, as specified in the deposit scheme terms, avoid this estate agent.

GooglePoor communication. Failed to disclose that my buyers, buyer, pulled out for 3 days and ignored my calls when I was trying to find out why we weren't progressing. They only called back after my buyer had resold his so they could give me 'good news'. Avoid
