We've had a fantastic experience so far with Abbotts Estate Agents. A big thank you to Darcy, Hayden, and Brady for their hard work and support throughout the process. They're proactive, confident and genuinely care about being about to meet your expectations and requirements. They've been quick to respond to and deal with any issues and always put 110% effort and energy into making sure you're a happy client. They managed to secure a buyer for my property within just a few weeks, which was incredibly impressive, especially given the current market. On top of that, they also helped us to successfully secure an offer on a new house through them, making the whole experience smooth and efficient. Communication has been excellent from start to finish. They kept all parties well-informed and are always quick to respond to any questions we have, which has, so far, made a potentially stressful process feel much more manageable! I’d highly recommend Abbotts to anyone looking to buy or sell. They're a professional, proactive, and genuinely helpful team.

I had an extremely disappointing experience when I came close to buying a property through Abbotts Stowmarket. They effectively lead me on for well over a month, making me believe that I had placed an acceptable offer on a property, and that the vendor just needed more time to find onwards, only for them to then inform me at the very last second that another party had come in with an offer... how convenient. It’s clear that these agents used me as nothing more than bait, a useful idiot, to force the sale to go to best and final offers and to get their client a bigger offer, having led me down the garden path for weeks. We all know that estate agents deploy these shady tactics, but it’s still extremely disappointing to fall victim to them. I would not recommend buying through Abbotts Stowmarket, but you’ll probably do quite well selling through them TBH, as they seem to deploy these unsavoury tactics against perspective buyers and exploit their trust and goodwill. A real shame.

We chose Abbotts after getting three agents for a valuation, based on Emily's enthusiasm and great personality as well as her commitment to the job. She came with thorough research and talked everything through with us. The service throughout the sale of our home (of which was sold in a week or so!) was fantastic from start to finish. Our solicitors weren't the quickest and we had more than a couple of changes with them, but Emily was so proactive and chased them on our behalf, she kept us updated and we felt confident with her the whole time.
