Selling and buying in a property chain is never an easy process, and ours was certainly a stressful one. However, we couldn't have asked for better support than what we received from Zerda at Abbotts. Throughout all the inevitable twists, turns, and hurdles of the chain, she was a constant source of help and guidance. She kept communication open, worked tirelessly behind the scenes, and supported us every step of the way to get us across the finish line. Would strongly recommend!

Our experience of buying our new home through Abbotts was extremely disappointing. Communication throughout the process was very poor. It was often impossible to get through by telephone, leaving us listening to music for long periods, and when we did have the option to leave a message, our calls were not returned. Emails were also regularly left unanswered, which made the whole process far more stressful than it needed to be. On our second viewing, we were expecting to meet someone at the property, but nobody turned up. We were left waiting and had no communication or explanation as to why nobody was there. We even had to contact the Norwich branch ourselves and ask them to get in touch with the relevant office to arrange this. Buying a home should be an exciting and memorable experience, but unfortunately our experience with Abbotts was made unnecessarily stressful by the lack of communication and organisation. We are very happy with our new home, but sadly we cannot say the same about our experience with Abbotts. Based on our experience, we would not use them again or recommend them.

Was interested in purchasing a property for sale with abbots and tried to set up a viewing. One was set up for two weeks in advance and then moved to the following day. We were told that they would confirm a time for the viewing with the owner as they would be present in order to let us in. It is now the day of the appointment, we have called multiple times for the previous five days and have had no response, even visiting the branch at a time where they were advertised as open, but there was no one there to speak to, so we have assumed we will not be viewing the property. Its seems as if they dont want to sell their properties? Slightly counterintuitive for an estate agent and extremely unprofessional!

Edit- this review was taken down temporarily, due to abbots reporting it, despite it being a fair and just review. They are upset that their ai photos dont look good, and somebody called them out! Although my 1 star is not only for the ai photos, as they know. I could tell you a million reasons as to why this company is the worst letting agency out there, but I will keep it short. Unprofessional workers who treat you awful, and bully you. Peter I will never forget your rudeness, even though they moved you to a different branch, instead of firing you. You are evil and attempt to make tenants lives worse. I do not say this lightly. They also use ai photos to advertise for real properties (making the outside of the house look brand new when in real life, it is crumbled and overgrown). This is clearly a bad choice because you are falsely advertising properties, by enhancing them and making them look significantly more done up and clean than they are. Definitely avoid, if you can! I will also add that the fact they tried to hide my review, surely says alot. They know they have done wrong yet they will not correct it. A completely dishonest, disrespectful company. Go diggins or something, at least they use real images of the properties, and dont try to scam you. Pictures attatched are some clear ai images used for one of their properties. If you cannot tell, take a moment to look and it will become obvious. The lamp? The weird kitchen decor? Not to even mention that they have completely erased all the peeling wallpaper, the real floor, etc, everything in these images is fake. This is outrageous. (Also weird photo of ai jesus?)
