Lorraine Marshall is our contact for our current sale and also was for the previous sale that happened just 15 months ago. She has been very focussed and helpful and has made our expirence of moving house as stress free as possible. At a time when moving is both fraught with stress and also expensive, it is good to have her helping us through the experience. We had a problem in losing our buyer, but Lorraine was great and found us a new buyer almost straight away. Since then things have progressed despite us losing out on properties we were hoping to buy. She was very supportive throughout without being at all demanding.

Lorraine, Sam and her team should be commended in their efforts to procure the sale of our converted barn, which has proved to be a long and sometimes frustrating process. Our gratitude extends to their methods of communication. In particular, always making themselves available for that 'personal touch,' which in our case usually means a 1-2-1 drop into the branch without notice. Along with regular communiques inc texts, phone calls, mails, all vital when things seem not to be going as expected! Finally a special thanks for their resourcefulness when dealing with 'outside' organisations not normally associated with Estate Agents. Forget 'fixed price' agencies! As you DO NOT get this level of support!

From the outset it was clear that we wanted to place our business with Abbotts of Wymondham. We were helped by Lorraine Marshall who had previously excelled in selling my daughter's house for her. Lorraine is entirely professional, extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Throughout the whole process of selling our property she provided excellent support and good advice. We were guided but never pushed. The quality of our Sales Particulars along with the professional photographs stood out and was commented on by numerous people. We also required the support of a mortgage broker in order to buy the house of our dreams. We were very fortunate to have Janet Charlton , from Countrywide Mortgage Services, recommended to us. She found us a good deal and ensured that the building society moved quickly. I believe without her support there was a real danger that the whole process would of floundered. As it was we made up several weeks and needed to because our house sold weeks before we identified our new home. In consequence we were able to synchronise buying and selling. Would I use Abbotts again? Definitely and would recommend others to use Abbotts.

I sold my old house through another estate agent and was purchasing from a man dealing with Abbotts in Barkingside. My own estate agent was not too helpful after the purchase of my old house was going through but Peter Franklin and his team were excellent. Peter was sympathetic, understanding and sensible. He guided me through it all and without his backing, I would have found the strain of my purshasers playing silly tricks absolutely unbearable. We had a great experience with Abbotts and would highly recommend them. They accompanied all viewings as we requested and surprisingly gave feed back, unprompted, on all of the viewings. They were excellent at chasing solicitors in the final drive to complete the sale. The guys and gals at Abbotts Wymondham were excellent during my sale and purchase, kept me informed at regular intervals throughout. Photos for the website were done quickly, viewings were taken care of, and a buyer was found in less than a fortnight, which was ultimately the person we sold to a few months later. My sister and I have been very impressed by the service we have received from Abbotts in Wymondham. We approached them nearly two years ago for a probate valuation and although we did not actually put the property on the market until a few months ago, Lorraine stayed in touch, giving us a lot of really useful help and advice before we had even engaged Abbotts. When we finally came to selecting an Estate Agent, it was a no-brainer! The moment we engaged Abbotts, Lorraine had potential purchasers ready to view and we had offers within days. Although our first buyer eventually pulled out, this was in no way a reflection on the service offered by Abbotts. Lorraine immediately had another prospective buyer in the wings and the property is once again under offer. We really couldn't fault the service we have received from Abbotts and especially Lorraine, who has done everything she possibly could (and more besides) to make the process as fast, smooth and trouble-free as possible.
