Fantastic service in selling our property. Joanna and the team were proactive in bringing prospective buyers to the property and sharing feedback to present the property at it's best. We always felt informed about what was happening when our initial sale fell through, they had new viewers lined up within 24 hours, one of which purchased our bungalow. From start to finish, the team were always cheerful, helpful, polite and a pleasure to work with.

Johanna at Abbotts Thorpe Bay recently sold a property for us. She went about the task professionally and with enthusiasm, giving confidence that we would have a successful outcome. I contrast this with a local competitor that had been recommended to us, that was just interested in a quick sale and suggested that we ask for 20% less than Abbotts actually achieved. Abbotts’ whole approach to the sale was more thorough and consultative. Like all such transactions things weren’t always perfect, but Johanna and Nick handled challenges well. They were good with communication and expectation setting. I would use Abbotts again if I had a property transaction in the Thorpe Bay / Shoeburyness area.

I had already left a review and had a phone call from somone in the Thorpe bay branch asking me to take it down. They told me it wasn't them who sold the house and they wouldn't have done what I'm about to explain. My parents put an offer in on a property and so did one of the agents friends, initially the friend of the agent had put an offer in at £370k then we put an offer in at £400k. Then all of a sudden the friend has put the same offer which isn't a problem. What the problem is is that your agents lied to the vendor saying there friend was ready to go when 2 months later the house is still stc they was as ready to go as my parents was. We never got asked to put a counter offer in or even thought about. If you do business all through back doors I don't think this is very professional and have already taken this further because there should be a fair chance for all. Also not lying to the vendor saying that the person is ready to go when they full well wasn't isn't a good move

Terry was honest and clearly done his home work when he came to value the property and valued it at the right level to enable us yo sell in 2 weeks. from the moment we went on the market to the day of completion the whole team were engaging and supportive.
