GoogleIf Carlsberg did estate agents, they’d probably still be taking notes from Newton Fallowell.
Firstly, Steve, the valuer and brochure wizard. If you’re looking for an agent who’ll tell you exactly what you want to hear just to win your instruction, Steve isn’t your man. He comes highly recommended, and gives honest, realistic valuations without the usual sales patter. I’ve sold two properties in the last year, and both sold either at the asking price or within 5% of his valuation. That tells you everything you need to know.
Then there’s Kayrn and Kelly in the office, who deserve medals for the amount of chasing they do. Solicitors dragging their feet? They’ll be on it. Need an update? They’ll get one. Got a question? They’ll answer it. Nothing ever seems too much trouble. They’re lovely people, and add a personal touch, making what can be a stressful process feel much easier.
The whole team is friendly, efficient, easy to contact and actually does what they say they’re going to do.
If you want a quick sale, regular updates, & people who answer the phone, use Newton Fallowell. If you prefer waiting three days for a callback, hearing “we’ve left a message” for the 47th time, and wondering what’s happening with your sale, feel free to use another estate agent.
A final note, if I’ve left anyone out, I apologise. Everyone I’ve dealt with at Newton Fallowell has been brilliant; Steve, Kayrn and Kelly are simply the people I’ve had the most contact with throughout the process. Newton Fallowell are an absolute pleasure to deal with from start to finish.

From the moment we walked through the door of what is now our new home, we knew it was the house we wanted, and Abbie played a huge part in helping make that happen. She conducted the viewing brilliantly and had great knowledge of the property, answering our questions and making us feel confident throughout the process.
As with many house purchases, there were a few obstacles along the way involving the chain and solicitors, but Abbie was excellent at staying on top of everything. She was proactive, responsive and always kept us updated. Her no-nonsense approach when chasing solicitors was exactly what we needed at times and really helped keep things moving forward!
A big thank you also to Kayrn, who was always helpful whenever we spoke.

GoogleMy experience with Newton Fallowell was extremely disappointing.
After deciding to withdraw my property from the market, I found myself in a dispute regarding the interpretation of the notice period in their contract. Despite the agreement appearing to require 14 days’ notice from the seller after the minimum term, I was met with conflicting interpretations and discussions regarding potential fees and contractual obligations.
I never refused any viewings, nor was I asked whether the agent could conduct viewings on my behalf. Despite this, the issue was raised during discussions surrounding the termination of the agreement.
What was particularly concerning was that I was accidentally sent an internal email that was clearly not intended for me. The email contained internal discussions about my instruction and the agency’s position regarding my notice. It also appeared to acknowledge that my 14-day notice should be accepted. Receiving internal correspondence by mistake raised serious concerns about professionalism, communication standards and the handling of client information.
Throughout the process I repeatedly requested clarity regarding the contractual basis for any fees being discussed and confirmation that my property would be removed from marketing portals. Rather than receiving a straightforward resolution, the matter became unnecessarily drawn out.
Communication regarding a prospective purchaser was also frustrating. I repeatedly had to request updates regarding their position while trying to resolve the contractual issues at the same time.
As a client, I expected transparency, professionalism and clear communication. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. Based on how this matter was handled, I would not use this agency again and would encourage others to carefully review all contractual terms before signing.
