We want to emphasize that there was absolutely no "under the table" deal, nor any underhanded tactics involved in this transaction. It's crucial to note that there was an extraordinary level of interest in the listing. As we informed all potential buyers, a call for “best and final” offers was initiated, and all offers, including yours, were presented to the sellers in person on the afternoon of Wednesday 20th September. While your offer was generous, appreciated, and under consideration, unfortunately it did not emerge as the highest offer received, nor was it selected by the sellers. It's essential to understand that the decision on which offer to accept solely rests with the sellers and can be influenced by various factors.
We sincerely understand the frustration and disappointment you may have experienced during this process. Indeed we note you wrote this review only a few minutes after being informed your final offer was unsuccessful. Many of us can empathise as we have been in similar situations. Buying a home can be an emotional journey, especially in situations with multiple interested parties, where ultimately only one offer can be accepted.
