GoogleWe were the buyers of a house in Berkhamsted and Fine and Country were acting for the sellers in selling the house. They were personable to deal with and made the transaction so much easier and quicker than we have experienced with other property transactions. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

From accommodating our last minute viewing to giving us space to finalise our sale, all the way through to helping push through the sale in the final weeks, we were hugely grateful for her support. GoogleWe recently bought our new home from Fine and Country, with Alex. What stood out was Alex’s communication and commitment to us whilst also working hard on behalf of her clients also. It was a stressful process at times, to be expected. But thanks to Alex’s hardwork and professionalism we got over the line. We are now settled into our new home and life in a lovely area ! GoogleFine and Country recently sold our house in Berkhamsted and couldn’t have done a better job. Alex and Chris were absolutely brilliant from start to finish. Highly professional yet friendly and supportive throughout. I felt I could call anytime, nothing was too much trouble. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them and use them again.

GoogleThe sale of our property, 54 Pond Cottage was handled with dedication and professionalism by Chris and Alex from the outset. Attractive particulars, sound presentation advice, correct pricing. During the sale we received regular updates immediately after the viewing if available and good advice regarding offers made. Once under offer Chris kept regular tabs on the progress of the sale. He sought regular updates from all parties, their solicitors and agents. It is great to see that some residential agents are still serious about delivering a professional and proactive service from the High Street. GoogleFine and Country Berkhamsted Selling a house is really hard, everything seems to be against you. Choosing your estate agent is the first tough decision. I “interviewed” so many estate agents many of whom undervalued the house for what reasons I will never understand. Chris gave me a value higher than most, not all and achieved that price 11 months later. Yes, we dropped the price to help the bottom of the chain to keep it; yes, we lost two buyers through broken chains; yes, members of the family told me to accept a lower price but Chris and his team relentlessly kept chasing potential buyers and finally we completed at virtually the original price. Chris kept me constantly informed whatever was going on and rang me weekly even if there had been no progress. I felt we had chosen an estate agent I could trust, a rare commodity truly appreciated.

GoogleWe recently sold through F&C and had the pleasure of dealing with Alex throughout, who was professional, pleasant, knowledgeable and patient in a difficult set of circumstances. We had a chain of 7 and a few issues in relation with to non-performance by others which she navigated us through well. She’s all over the detail, a strong negotiator and worked tirelessly to get us into our new home. I was pleased to have her on our team; she was of a calibre that was way in excess of others we encountered. Would recommend without hesitation.

GoogleI couldn’t have been happier with the service I received from Alex, Chris and all the team at Fine and Country. My house hunt was quite long, around 2 years and during that period Alex really took the time to understand the house we wanted and the reasons for our move. This meant she was well placed to advise me of houses that were worth viewing and also those that were not worth my time. She was patient through viewings that I wasn’t sure were suitable and is a very personable lady, a pleasure to deal with. When the right house came up Alex and the team acted swiftly to negotiate on our behalf and secure the sale. She also found a buyer quickly and we were able to complete the sale of our property in record time with minimal fuss. I found the whole team very responsive and communicative through the whole process and I couldn’t recommend them highly enough

GoogleFine and Country dealt with my parents' sale and demonstrated skill and patience, both with a difficult buyer and my parents' inability to find a property to purchase! I have no doubt that the chain was only held together by Fine and Country's experience and tact and unlike so many other estate agents, Jan, Chris and especially Alex always remember who they are acting for and whose interests come first. GoogleIf you use Fine and Country in Berkhamsted to sell your house then I would definitely advise you to ask for Alex Trewin to act on your behalf. In a difficult market in which one sale fell through at the last minute she was utterly professional, efficient and straightforward and she worked very hard to eventually get us moved. Do not let yourself be persuaded to go with anyone else - Alex is the person you want if you like people to be straight with you. Alas, she does not run the place - yet.

GoogleWe sold our house in Berkhamsted through Fine & Country and we couldn't recommend them highly enough. Chris, Alex and Viv were great to deal with from the outset and we really valued their approach, way of working, local knowledge and passion for what they do. It felt like they were always on our side and they regularly went beyond the level they needed to. They are very friendly, honest, flexible and they gave great advice throughout the process. Their knowledge of the Berkhamsted market was also invaluable when we were looking to move to another place within the town. You'll be in very good hands if you buy or sell through these guys.

GoogleWe recently bought our house through Fine & Country Berkhamsted. We have seen quite a few estate estate agents but the people at Fine & Country stand apart in terms of professionalism and service standards. Chris and Manoj provided us with all the information needed for making a decision and accommodated our multiple requests for viewing the property on Sunday and bank holdiays. Being in a chain (we had to sell ours) is a stressful experience and at times frustrating. The team at Fine & Country were in touch with the lawyers and kept us updated. Chris, Manoj - many thanks for your patience and support!
