GoogleAmrita Punia is an absolute treasure and we couldn’t have found our dream home without her. We relocated to the UK after 15 years in Los Angeles, and felt totally overwhelmed with navigating not only the unique process of buying a house in the UK, but understanding the nuances of the area. We spent months driving to appointments crisscrossing Warwickshire only to find unsuitable houses and disappointing areas. Amrita Punia changed everything. She spoke with us in depth about our very specific criteria, called agents in advance to confirm properties were a potential match, then set up appointments in a streamlined way, including many that weren’t even on the market yet. She was patient and understanding (never pushy!) while confidently answering all of our questions and putting us at ease. She’s a gem and a rarity in the UK real estate market. Can’t recommend working with her enough!

GoogleUnfortunately I can't recommend Fine and Country. We used them for a house sale in Kingswood and they didnt have our best interests. Nikki and Zoe were pushing us to accept low offers (note when we pushed back they would say - well you're going to lose this sale), they pushed us to accept a lower offer the buyer made a few months before the completion and then askes to leave the expensive curtains for free, they made a mess of some showings, they were calling the agents of the property we were buying and confusing matters to the point where we nearly lost out on our purchase. We paid about £12k to be treated badly. They were racist at various points in the process. We had agreed as part of the legal process what we would be leaving at the property and I got a really rude email from Zoe stating that we left rubbish. Those are what the buyer agreed to and that is a legal issue not a agent issue which they didn't need to email about (see attached). They made an already stressful process more stressful. In contrast to our buying estate agents who were a lot better at managing the whole process. Didn't address their mistakes in any part of the issues above. They don't respond to emails when feedback was sent. Turns out that Nikki and Zoe know the buyers hence why they behaved in this way. They refused to reveal their conflicts of interest.

In reference to accepting a lower offer, it is an agent’s responsibility to present all offers and to give our professional advice and recommendations, but ultimately it is always the vendor’s decision whether they accept an offer or not. With regards to your onward purchase, at your request, we went an extra mile with the onward agents, assisting to help you secure your purchase. We refute all allegations of racism. It is the vendor’s legal requirement to ensure their property is empty on the day of completion. This means the sellers must remove all their belongings, only leaving behind items that have been agreed with the buyer. Sadly, this was not the case with your property. Your purchaser contacted us, as their first point of contact, before going down the legal route and involving their Solicitor. We take all reviews very seriously and pride ourselves on the service we provide. If you would like to discuss your issues with us personally, then we would be delighted to meet with you.

GoogleFine&Country Redbourn were the third agent we used after the first two turned out to be a poor fit to our property. From the start F&C were quick to react and proactive and within a few months had secured a quality buyer and an offer close to guide price. What we feel gave them the edge was once the property was at solicitor stage, their progress team especially Faye Cartwright, worked extremely hard to ensure that exchange and completion with all parties in the chain happened before the 31 March stamp duty deadline. Without their contribution and tireless liaison between vendors, purchasers and legal teams we don’t think it would have happened on time. Thanks to all at Fine & Country Redbourn we can’t recommend you highly enough.

GoogleVery professional service from both Rachel and Martin right from the first meeting. They kept us fully up to date with feedback from viewings and once a buyer had been found Martin in particular was very reassuring and kept the lines of communication open at all times during a rather drawn out period of legal exchanges. He was always willing to offer advice, worked proactively with both sides to get the sale over the line and at times his sense of humour provided some welcome stress relief. We're very pleased with the service we received and would highly recommend.

GoogleWe used the West Malling office of Fine and Country, and were looked after amazingly well by Michael, Karen and Emma. They were with me every step of the way for my onward purchase, going above and beyond when I needed advise or guidance. Very polite and nothing too much trouble, with a wealth of knowledge and experience between them. The team made what was a very stressful situation for me as manageable as they could, taking into account my shift patterns, to cluster viewings. I would absolutely recommend Michael and the girls to anyone, and would definitely use again in the future should I ever need to move again. Thank you for everything
