GoogleWe were very impressed by Abbotts (Colchester) when they facilitated the sale of our house at a difficult time in the housing market. We were very impressed by the courteous, friendly and easy-to-understand advice and service during the past ten months. Not having dealt with house purchase for 47 years and being very unfamiliar with such matters (!) Abbotts worked with us to make things clear, responded promptly and courteously to our queries in person, by telephone and by email, and generally made the whole process as smooth as possible in the circumstances. Although we cannot say we enjoyed the experience of selling a house (!), Abbotts made things easier for us... Many thanks!

GoogleSix months ago I used Abbotts to find a flat in Bury. As you know these places go fast. Nicole was able to show me two flats the same day I called. She even showed me a place that wasn’t even advertised yet. I now call that place home. Give them a call and ask for Nicole. You won’t regret it.

GoogleI would never recommend the lettings side of Abbotts in kings lynn. We rented a property from them, lovely at first once you have moved in and they have their money. They let the property to us with toilet seats hanging off, the property had not been cleaned, hardly any lights worked and the carpets looked liked they had never been cleaned since the house had been built.moving out is also a terrible experience with them. We terminated our tenancy one month early however we had paid our full tenancy up front. we are still being sent bills for the property 5 months after handing the keys into them and being told we are expected to pay for them. The property was left empty and we had no access to it. The staff are very unhelpful and rude when you finally get hold of them.The landlord attempted to keep the full amount of our deposit however we had to fight for this as we had left the property in better condition than when we moved in. Again Abbotts didn’t help with this and we had to approach deposit protection agency after looking into this further. It’s seems that this branch are after their targets rather than customer care. I would never use this company again!!! If your looking to rent through them, be careful they are on the landlords side for repeat business and they are only interested in getting you into the property after that it feels like your on your own.

GoogleAbbotts have been the most helpful, patient Estate Agents to help us find our forever home. They contacted us regularly and sent details of every new property immediately that fell into our desired area and type of home that we were looking for. Not living locally we needed to rely on this excellent service. Should we ever need assistance in buying or selling again we will be approaching Abbotts again. Thank You Kevin and Jackey McLoughlin

GoogleAbsolutely awful experience with the rental team. If you do not take another property with them You are treated with the worse attitude ever. Peter chapman in particular has no customer service how he is a manager is beyond me. 3 weeks no reply to emails or phone calls. I myself also rent out a property and would be extremely upset if the agents I use treated my tenants the way we have been in the last month.

GoogleI would leave 0 stars if I could. Abbotts was the agent we used when renting my mothers house. Then she sadly passed away and I needed help transferring details.agter threemonths of calls and emails no one answered or helped and I was offered £75 compensation. Avoid at all costs.
