GoogleDo not use this company for your property management not only do they not manage your property, they don’t reply to emails, tenants destroy properties and all they say is “we cannot tell tenants how live”! Now I am left going back and fourth for my deposit. Stay away! I would give them no stars if I could!

GoogleA very long house buying process due to difficult solicitors, but Jenna at Abbotts worked tirelessly to keep all parties informed throughout the process and got everything lined up herself when it came to exchange and completion, something that should be done by the solicitors. Couldn’t recommend her and Abbotts enough, they’ve been excellent!

GoogleHaving worked with another estate agent for best part of a year without success, I swapped to Abbotts and received several viewings resulting in a sale within a short number of months. I dealt predominantly with Klaudia who is nothing but professional. She is very polite and friendly, keeping me updated on viewing outcomes as well as every step of the sale through to completion. I couldn’t recommend Klaudia and the team highly enough. Many thanks for a smooth, prompt sale!

GoogleWorst experience as a buyer. Conveyancing dragged on for 7 months without a chain. Agent (Fenella) was useless chasing up the seller for documents that my solicitors needed to complete the conveyancing. They were only responsive when discussing the price. Always pushy towards me to complete the sale asap, but two times I failed to exchange contracts because they would just delay responding in order to fish for a better offer. They were also not informing me of new offers. Ignored my calls and were arrogant. In the end, I realised they just were not serious about doing their job and selling. Do not engage with them unless you want to lose time and money!

GoogleWe bought a bungalow recently through Abbots, Downham Market. The people we dealt with were very helpful and friendly and went out of their way to help! BUT ...... we also had to deal with the 'in house' conveyancing agent Conveyancing Direct' what a rude unhelpful person George was!!!! We'll never use that company again for fear we end up with him, dreadful man!

GoogleI am currently in the process of buying through Abbott's. They have supported me throughout the experience and when I needed help with exchange, Kerry stepped in and made sure it all happened within the hour. Kerry and Klaudia must have been sick of my calls, but always answered me, and got the result I hoped for. Buying a house is stressful, and others, such as solicitors and brokers can hamper the process making it unpositive. However, I have found Abbots to be the ones who got things moving Two weeks until completion, but I have every faith everything will go smoothly.

GoogleHaving purchased multiple properties during my life both in Chelmsford and other counties from estate agents, I can genuinely safely say that this Abbotts branch is by far the worst. They were so poor in so many levels and I can tell this is one of the cheapest agents available in the area for obvious reasons. They are also extremely hard to get hold of and I ended up falling out with staff member due to their poor service, another staff member who picked up my case was better I must admit but even when collecting my keys to the purchased property from one of the admin ladies she was also unhelpful and can clearly see she wasn't interested, neither did she want to be working there. Please don't listen to a lot of fake reviews on here and trust mine as a multiple property owning landlord who has dealt with many estate agents during my time. Would not recommend this branch at the slightest!
