GoogleThe team at Abbotts were great and let out my property very quickly and professionally. I would warn that Abbotts automatically change your energy supplier and don't advertise this fact. GoogleReally happy with the service received from Chris! From the initial viewing of the property Chris was really informative and showed me around the house properly (lots of estate agents open the door and leave you to it meaning you miss bits and don't get to ask questions as you look around). Chris was also very helpful with the application process and put forward my interest straight away. Since the viewing I have received nearly daily calls from Chris updating me on move in dates etc throughout. Having had a negative estate agent experience previously Chris has restored my faith! GoogleThe sale of our Dad's house was a bit of a roller coaster ride, with several change of agents. How I wish we had gone with Abbotts, Norwich branch, in the first instance. Kerry, the manager was very professional and we immediately felt in safe hands and relieved. Danielle was our key agent and went above and beyond to sell the house. She is so personable and put every ounce of energy and long hours into selling. We felt as though she was really on our side and working towards the best for us, as customers. If I sell another house, I will always go with Abbotts, Norwich. We highly recommend this branch if you're thinking of selling. GoogleMe and my partner were going through the process of buying our perfect first home through Abbottβs, we viewed the house and put in an offer for the asking price which was accepted the same day! We were over the moon until I received a call 5 days later saying we had been gazzumped and our offer had then been declined. We felt completely unsupported by Abbottβs, as first time buyers we are pretty clueless on any processes, to be told on the phone by Greg βweβre giving you the opportunity to put in a higher offerβ like they were doing me a favour. Unfortunately, we couldnβt afford to go any higher. I know gazzumping isnβt illegal, but any reputable company would not have put so much pressure on anxious first time buyers to make such a quick decision on thousands of pounds with little to no support in a matter of minutes. Hope we never have to deal with these immoral estate agents again.NegativeProfessionalism

Even though i can assume that it was a very busy time for them, we always felt like we were the only customers. All the agents were responsive, proactive, and no matter who you spoke with, they knew our property and the situation. GoogleI am writing to confirm the withdrawal of our offer for the purchase of the above premises. From the outset your service has been nothing short of appalling, firstly you neglected to mention in any of your sale advertisements that this property is a 'listed building', you also didnβt mention that this premises is in a conservation area, the first we knew of these very important details was when our own solicitor informed us some weeks into negotiations! Your customer service is nonexistent, even today (like on so many previous occasions - for example last Thursday - no return call) (today is Tuesday) you havenβt returned my call. You have left me no alternative other than to seek a purchase elsewhere with a reputable agent. In order that others may be deterred, and not subjected to such a horrendous experience - which has resulted in a significant cost to me, I am sending a copy of this email to your head office to advise them how you run your branch!!NegativeResponsiveness, Professionalism
