GoogleIncredible service from the letting team here and from property management. Specifically peter,Samantha and Julianne from property management. I could have gotten through the last week or so without them they have helped me so much. Peter and Julianne spent all of their time and energy helping time through a tough time with a landlord and I cannot thank them or recommend them and abbots as a whole enough.

GoogleWe visited a number of Estate Agents in Ipswich as well as requested for additional information for properties that we looking at on line. Some agents did not bother to comeback to us, others came back but did not followed up. Its been a pleasure working with Abbotts in particular with Nicole and Leon who assisted when Nicole was not available. Leon through his knowledge of the area help with the background we needed to commit to the purchase Nicole you are a Star especially with all your help. Whilst I would have liked a cheaper price on the property I understand you were acting on behalf of your vender, you however came back with ideas to assist us make up our mind.

GoogleI both sold and bought a house through Abbotts Hunstanton. The sale was incredibly quick and smooth. Within a couple of days of the house going up for sale we had viewings and we completed on the sale shortly afterwards. In fact it was so quick that we had to move into rented accommodation whilst we completed on the purchase of our new home, which was dragging on! The purchase of our new property through a different agent did not go well and fell through unfortunately, due to structural problems. At this point, having sold our house, we were very worried about what we were going to do next! However, the team at Abbotts knew our requirements and found us the perfect property which we immediately put an offer on. Our offer was accepted and we completed - Abbotts made the process stress free and we really couldn't be happier with our amazing new home. I would definitely recommend Abbotts Hunstanton for anyone thinking of buying a property or selling their home.

GoogleI can honestly say that one could not expect better service from the Fakenham office of Abbotts. In particular, Shaye is positive, friendly and very professional, as is Emily. I did try having a second estate agent company look after my sale, but their service was not a patch of that given by the Abbotts Fakenham office, and the rival company was dumped after some months. I think it would be fair to say that the present political climate has had adverse effects on the UK housing market, but this has not affected the determination of this office, nor the positive and cheerful way with which each and every dealing is met. Definitely a 5-star award and highly recommended.

GoogleAbbotts have managed my property since mid 2018. The team have always been very responsive to any queries and requests. The new branch manager Peter is always willing to help and regularly checks in with information before I have thought to ask. I would strongly recommend current the team for anyone looking for a fully managed solution in Cambridge.

GoogleI think that Abbots may need to move into the 21st century and improve their form of communication. In the time of Emails and instant correspondence, they appear to still be using carrier pigeons for their internal communications. And even these need some serious attention because given the amount of messages that don't actually make it anywhere, I'm assuming most are dying mid flight. No one either in branch or between offices seem to acknowledge each others existence. Messages are relayed and you can speak to 5 different people about the same issue before you find someone that has the ability to talk to colleagues. Whilst they are taking your money in rent, all is well and you are left alone as expected. As soon as notice is handed in, that's it. The Landlord is under the impression that we are being difficult about viewings, despite taking time off work for no shows and 'dummy' viewings that were booked to make the landlord feel that they are getting people viewing the house and the lettings agent are doing their job. Which they aren't. We have had 3 viewings in as many months. The landlord believes we have had many more than that. We were given a weeks notice to vacate the property because the landlord was clearly told that there would be a better chance of letting if the place was empty. The carrier pigeon that sent the notice must have got confused because it brought a message that told us we had a week to move out. Our tenancy agreement had lapsed and the lettings agent hadn't sorted a new one. So they somehow managed to forget that they actually needed to provide one months notice. Not a week. On top of this, they have been pestering for a screenshot of our bank statements to show when rent was paid. Because they had some money that had been sent but wasn't allocated anywhere. This obviously wasn't going to happen and they were provided with transaction numbers to show we had paid. But still screenshots were required. Many diseased carrier pigeons came and went and eventually a healthy one made it through and it was sorted. I've never come across a company that lacks basic communication and customer service on this scale. I would like to suggest that as a company they either invest in some working telephones or employ a vet to manage the flock.
