GoogleI had a good experience with Abbotts from day one. The staff were consistently pleasant, helpful, efficient and professional. They were up against it during the first lockdown and pandemic, but I felt kept up to date without constant chasing. They acted in my best interests, and when an initial sale fell through, sorted a new buyer promptly. I highly recommend them.

GoogleWe recently sold our property in South Woodham Ferrers though Abbotts at Chemsford. We decided to go with Abbotts because they managed to sell our previous property during the recession in 2008. Twelve years later they had maintained their high standards of professionalism, presentation and determination to sell in whatever market you find yourself in. We sold (STC) in a week and Jack and his team at Chemsford managed the process from beginning to end with out ever dropping the ball. We would recommend their premium marketing Pack option, because their professional photograther is outstanding and makes your property stand out from the crowd. If you want to get moving then we would certainly recommend Abbots at Chemsford.

GoogleI tried two other Estate agents in Ipswich before settling on Abbotts . Amie made it clear from the start that she would find a buyer and she was right . Not only that , she found a good solid buyer , the kind that doesnt mess you about for several months . That took a lot of stress out of the situation . I felt I was in capable hands all the way through and was kept informed at each step . I also had some dealing with Tim , who was always very helpful and supportive . A great team , and they get the job done !

GoogleWhen the pandemic affected our plans to move oversees, we needed to take a 6-month let. The ‘system’ is certainly not perfect with the many different elements of the process being handled by different organisations, but Scott at Abbotts Countrywide has been a constant throughout and has always responded promptly and efficiently to our queries. GoogleWe hadn't rented before and didn't know what to expect, however we found Abbotts to be very efficient from the first phone call through to the day we met Chris and collected the keys. Both Genevieve and Christopher were very helpful and clear with their explanations throughout. Would recommend this business to others.

GoogleI feel sorry for the poor sodds who have these guys as their estate agent. Tried to book in to view some houses they are advertising and was told we had to have to speak to a mortgage adviser first. Unusual, but fine, did that. Having done that tried to get viewings booked, telling them any time on a specific day given - they not only failed to book the viewings, but when we called to ask when they were on the day, they then had the cheek to blame us for not giving them a specific time (I would have thought any time would be easier). Who knows what would have happened if we saw those houses, but we've now offered elsewhere. Oh and the mortgage company they refer you too has 1 star on trust pilot. Undoubtedly they get a great commission for referrals. If you have these guys, I'd recommend looking for another agent.

GoogleAt the beginning of our house purchase it was hard to make contact, or know who the correct member of staff to contact in relation to our case, each member would say we needed to speak to someone different (this was probably due to lockdown etc) However once Georgina took on a lead role in our case I couldn't fault her! She was always extremely responsive to our emails and helped chase the sellers solicitor to speed our process up. She was friendly, open and honest and good at explaining things. GoogleWe purchased our property through Abbotts. Jamie Daniel, Senior Sales Negotiator, managed the whole process from showing us round the property through to exchange. Jamie and Alex have gone above and beyond to ensure the smooth process of the exchange, helping us to follow up with solicitors and providing advice every step of the way. They were always available to speak with us and ensured great communication with our sellers. If we ever go through the sales process again, then I'll definitely be calling Jamie and his team to manage the sale.

GoogleWe were interested in viewing an Abbott fox property in which we got a viewing straight away, nothing to much trouble Lisa showed us round and answered all our questions she was very pleasent and polite made us feel welcome and valued.
