Huge thank you to both Peter and Samantha for being absolute angels during the most stressful move ever! They were beyond understanding and accommodating when things went wrong multiple times and didn't end up getting to view the place before moving in, but I really felt like their work ensured that I wasn't getting any less in terms of service. Thank you especially to Samantha who was so kind and waited for me to get my cat up to Colchester by train after my movers let me down twice. She is such a kind, lovely person to have been in contact with for this, and I wish her all the best! Edit: After actually living in a property managed by Abbotts, I find it hard to continue thinking of them positively. Whether it's an experience only clouded by having a landlord that is abroad or being frustrated by the lack of urgency with repairs/finding multiple issues ahd that information was withheld prior to signing the contract, something is truly off about this entire experience. Before I'm asked to get in touch, I will be emailing to confirm time for a sit down that I had to chase you on. Saying I'm dissatisfied is an understatement and as professionals, you should really do better to ensure the properties you manage are in decent condition prior to move in and do better to fix urgent issues like leaks or lack of gas, regardless of when these issues occur.

Twice now we have tried to help our daughter purchase a new development house in our area and the builders have been so helpful yet the staff at Abbotts have been so rude and obnoxious that we did not believe it till we accompanied our daughter especially to assist. Basically unless they sell our flat they refuse to even start negotiations regarding the new house. Even the developers are fed up with them. This is not what we expect from a company one of our relatives helped set up. So if you want to be insulted, patronised and told you have no idea what you are talking about then good luck .
