GoogleDreadful experience with the sales team at Abbots. Young and very very inexperienced. Only answer the phones occasionally. Really didn’t have a clue about the houses they were showing. The whole team needs training.

GoogleHaving used Abbott’s Thorpe Bay for both the sale of my property and the purchase of a new home 6 months later I can honestly say they go above and beyond to provide the best customer service possible. I truly believe the team are genuinely concerned about their clients and endeavour to make the process as smooth as possible, providing advice and support from start to finish. Particular shout out to Joanna for all her help. I would fully recommend Abbott’s Thorpe Bay as excellent agents for any house move.

GoogleAfter dealing with property agents for the last 35 years in buying/selling and renting in many parts of the UK. Hong Kong, Philippines and Thailand I can say this Thrope Bay office in my option is the worst I have ever dealt with. Totally unprofessional rude arrogant amateurs .The office manager thinks he is God and way up himself in his tiny little sleep backwater town with a staff of 5/6.The sales lady tries hard. but !!!!!( The guy in the letting department at their office in Rayleigh )follows the branch manager of this branch in his high option of who or what he actually is. These two people are a total disgrace to the company and for anyone looking to sell or rent out a property in Southend on Sea I would strongly recommend you do NOT use this company and go somewhere else. Rude, arrogant little people with big egos Rating ZERO. I will never use them again

GoogleAbsolutely shocking service. Never any communication. Constantly having to chase via phone and email to get answers, even though I am paying them roughly £100 pcm to ‘manage’ my property. Keep taking extra money from rent for extras when told twice that I don’t want any extras at all. Kerrie promised the most amazing service when I decided to go with abbots, after telling her the previous bad experience with lettings agents but she doesn’t seem to know what she’s doing at all, no one does! Still waiting for a response from early last week, have chased 4 times with no answer. Wouldn’t recommend Abbots at all - stay well clear. Have left this review on the downham market branch as well as kings Lynn as I seem to be speaking to both offices so who knows which one actually manages my property.

GoogleHad poor experience already. Arranged a viewing at first, went there and found no one. Then called the team no body answered (as usual), left a voice a message then they came back and said they could not find keys but no body informed me earlier. Viewed property later then made an application for it, been told they will tell me about response from landlord. Sent emails to staff no one replied. Poor service to be fair you will need to keep chasing them face to face.

GoogleI was trying to let a house from them for 2 weeks now. In the first weeks I was calling them houndred times and nobody reply. After that I go to the agency in Norwich to be disappointed one more time. They don't give me any details at first, they said they will send me the video with the house so I was waiting for 3 h and nothing, I go back to the agency and another colleague send me the video and the application form. I send them the application form and I was waiting for a replay when the landlord will get it and I will have a replay. Nothing happened. I was calling them today asking about the house and they said somebody already got it but they Don t even ask for my name. It s impossible to be so disinterested when you got this kind of job. Very disappointed, I was expecting much more

GoogleDreadful service from the lettings team. No one picks up the phone, messages not returned, emails not replied to, new staff inadequately trained, No communication and so I had to constantly chase. No manager in Norwich so I had to constantly contact Zita the Cambridge manager. Two Official complaints raised and are with the regional manager.

GoogleI was consulted by Gary Jenkins and Sophie for buying out first ever home in UK- Today is the key handover. They were extremely helpful throughout the process. I sent them numerous amount of email quering this and that; they gave reply to my emails with answers everytime without failure. They gave us a warm welcome from the beginning and later when we changed our home design according to the limited budget, we were consulted by others. Even after that Gary and Sophie kept helping us with general queries- as it was hard to get to our original team. Gary and Sophie also helped us to choose our home within our budget and Sophie also very kindly pulled out some renovated house options, if we were interested. However, finally we are getting our home now and I wish them all the success in life.
