Worst Agency ever especially Letting Department, they do not respond to emails nor answer the phone. Countless Emails sent to Nathaniel but no response lack of professionalism and they have been holding my deposit for weeks now won’t return it back just went quiet no communication or respond back to emails. I just want my deposit back please see no need to be fighting or Abbotts withholding it when the check-out inspection was completed and no deductions were identified

Didn’t have the chance to go through a full purchase with these guys however had a viewing and a discussion about putting in an offer and Chloe Stuttle was fantastic at the viewing, extremely professional and friendly. Post viewing I tried to put in an offer which again Chloe helped with. Following this Chloe has made the effort to check in on my journey as a first time buyer always being friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Highly recommend.

We rented a place through abbotts at the beginning of the year, and the service we received when moving in was appalling. I’d like to note the property is fully managed by Abbotts, now i’m not sure if this is because we are first time renters, and they thought they could pull a fast one but the property had not been cleaned, there was still old cuttlery and food in the dish washer, cobwebs everywhere, pencil all over the walls, coffee residue all over the kitchen sides, to name a few! The Oven was broken, we had no hot water (which costed loads on electric) I had to pay a cleaner and we are yet to be compensated for any of this. Whilst we are still in the property and have now made it a home, I would not recommend this estate agency.

I had an extremely disappointing experience when I came close to buying a property through Abbotts Stowmarket. They effectively lead me on for well over a month, making me believe that I had placed an acceptable offer on a property, and that the vendor just needed more time to find onwards, only for them to then inform me at the very last second that another party had come in with an offer... how convenient. It’s clear that these agents used me as nothing more than bait, a useful idiot, to force the sale to go to best and final offers and to get their client a bigger offer, having led me down the garden path for weeks. We all know that estate agents deploy these shady tactics, but it’s still extremely disappointing to fall victim to them. I would not recommend buying through Abbotts Stowmarket, but you’ll probably do quite well selling through them TBH, as they seem to deploy these unsavoury tactics against perspective buyers and exploit their trust and goodwill. A real shame.
