GoogleCalled the West Denton office this afternoon and spoke to a lady called Ashleigh. I have spoken to several agents this week whilst making enquires about the process of selling my late fathers home. Ashleigh was very informative and polite, and by far the best Agent I have spoken to. I will be returning when I am ready to sell. Thank you.

GoogleI would avoid using this company at all costs, especially the West Denton branch. We put an offer in on a property on Saturday and arranged to view it the following Tuesday. By Monday (the day before our viewing) we contacted them regarding the offer to see whether it had been accepted to which we had been informed they needed various things from us (agreement in principle and proof of funds etc). So after various phone calls to our mortgage company etc and the bank to get this information we emailed it all across to them and were still waiting regarding the offer. As this was taking some time we contacted another agent that the property was on the market with to find out that it has already sold. When we went back to Your Move they had no knowledge of this at all, baring in mind we still had a viewing arranged. The staff are completely incompetent and totally wasted our time throughout the whole process and I would not recommend using them to anyone.
Hi Annelise. I am very sorry to hear about your bad experience with our West Denton branch. Unfortunately, this issue seems to have been out of our control. The corporate client we were selling the property on behalf of did not inform us that the property had been sold, therefore we were kept out of the loop just as you were. We followed our usual procedure in terms of getting sight of your agreement in principle and proof of funds - we do this in order that we can recommend the seller removes the property from the market. I can only apologise for the breakdown in communication and we will endeavour to improve our service in light of your feedback. After trying to sell our house with another company for 8 months, we decided to put the property on the market with yourmove after a discussion with Sophie at the Washington branch. Within 4 weeks of the property being on the market with Yourmove, Sophie had carried out a viewing and secured a sale...much to our delight! We are due to complete on 1st March and the process couldn’t have been made easier.
