GoogleProperty is the most valuable possession you’ll ever come to own on this green earth, and when dealing with it you need to work with competent, proficient, and trustworthy estate agents. The West Denton team have been absolutely excellent from start to finish. Whilst being both professional and personable, Tim, Abi, Ashleigh, and Louise have been our saviours from start to finish in what has been a very big move for us and we will never be able to thank them enough.
(P.s we hope they enjoy the flowers, chocolate doughnuts, profiteroles, and Tim’s horrible Decaf tea!)

GoogleAbsolutely disgusted by the service I received. Never ever buy a property through this branch or your move. They've taken the side of the owner throughout the whole process. To say they were Unhelpful is an understatement. Was advised by your move from the beginning that everything inside the house is included in the price. Later seller asked additional money for the washing machine. Asked them to contact the owner and ask to remove rubbish from the property(which I believe is common sense) and cut grass before completion and was shouted at over the phone and asked to why the process is taking so long and that the owner is unhappy as they are still paying council tax. Was also advised that seller lives far away and can't help. Yet seller somehow managed to come over and recover washing machine from the property 3 days before completion. Never in my life anyone spoke to me over the phone in such tone and manner as the lady from your move and I wasn't even complaining only asking. In the end had to sort everything out myself. All your move was doing throughout the process was trying to push their own insurance policy with numerous nuisance calls. I understand that it is in the best interest of Your Move to sell the property asap but at the end of the day both buyer and seller are your clients. In addition to that the property had leaking roof which owner clearly attempted to conceal as can be seen from the pictures attached. It is more than likely that the agent was aware of that although they will probably deny.

Under the Estate Agency Act we have a legal obligation to represent our vendor and not the buyer of a property, so it is actually law that we take "the side of the owner throughout the process". As a buyer, you are a client to your solicitor and surveyor so the issue of the washing machine and rubbish should be raised with your solicitor and the roof with the surveyor who carried out the survey and has the responsibility of raising any potential issues with you.

GoogleI would avoid using this company at all costs, especially the West Denton branch.
We put an offer in on a property on Saturday and arranged to view it the following Tuesday.
By Monday (the day before our viewing) we contacted them regarding the offer to see whether it had been accepted to which we had been informed they needed various things from us (agreement in principle and proof of funds etc). So after various phone calls to our mortgage company etc and the bank to get this information we emailed it all across to them and were still waiting regarding the offer. As this was taking some time we contacted another agent that the property was on the market with to find out that it has already sold.
When we went back to Your Move they had no knowledge of this at all, baring in mind we still had a viewing arranged.
The staff are completely incompetent and totally wasted our time throughout the whole process and I would not recommend using them to anyone.

The corporate client we were selling the property on behalf of did not inform us that the property had been sold, therefore we were kept out of the loop just as you were. We followed our usual procedure in terms of getting sight of your agreement in principle and proof of funds - we do this in order that we can recommend the seller removes the property from the market. Instead, they will charge you extortionate rates for individual services.

TERRIBLE...They will over inflate your valuation price to sign you up.They dont check your Buyers have a mortgage agreement before they send them to view your premises.They dont ring out and update you, you ring them then they chase things up.They tell you what they think they want to hear and arent open and honest.They are quite happy to let you deal direct with your buyers side of things so they dont have to do any work to get paid...
