The office staff (in particular Georgia, Julia and Sharon) were lovely, reliable, and nothing ever seem to be too much trouble for them. The sales team were sure to keep me informed during the final stages making that part of the experience stress-free. They are happy to let my landlady Rob me after she informed the council that I moved out when I didn't which messed my benefits claim up they are also happy to represent her even after I informed them that me and my kids were going without heating because I couldn't afford to use them with them being electric

Dealing with Your Move (Durham) was one of most needlessly upsetting and stressful experiences I’ve ever had… Our otherwise excellent Landlord/Tenant relationship was enormously strained due to Your Move’s miscommunication between parties, blame-shifting and overall pushiness. Your Move showed a total DISREGARD to personal arrangements made between our landlord and ourselves; we had agreed to continue living in the property (at the initial request of our landlord) until the property was sold. This arrangement would’ve also enabled us to move out gradually and discreetly. WE DID NOT CONSENT to interior photographers taking photos of our personal belongings during this transition period, however, due to Your Move putting pressure on our (elderly) landlord for the interior photographers to ‘go ahead’ - this meant we were forced to to move all our personal belongings elsewhere at VERY LITTLE NOTICE! Your Move’s online property listing also contained deceivingly-worded information alluding to the fact that we (the tenants) had been ‘living at the property for years’ and were now simply ‘moving on.’ As it stands, Your Move DID NOT SEEK OR OBTAIN OUR CONSENT to put this information on the listing! I had to ask (twice) for this information to be removed after the agent refused to do so. And since our reason for moving was ultimately due to long-term prolonged harassment, discrimination and theft via neighbours from three different households (with police involvement made necessary) - for Your Move (Durham) to use the ‘length of our stay’ as a selling point was, (I felt) unprofessional and dishonest. Based on these experiences, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND USING YOUR MOVE (DURHAM) #RUSHmove #BADmove #WRONGmove

From the first call we made to enquire about a property, the service we received from Sales Manager Nicola Hall was excellent. Extremely efficient and friendly, so much so that after our viewing, we asked to use the same office to obtain a valuation of our property. Ian Taylor called out to advise us and again the same efficient friendly service resulted in our house being photographed within a couple of days, and online shortly after. Within a couple more days, we had an offer, which we accepted, and consequently because we were “proceed-able”, our offer on the property we fell in love with was accepted. We recently moved to Scotland from Durham and used Your Move in Durham to sell our house in Belmont. The move was a tricky one with us moving to Scotland and having to use separate solicitors on either side of the border, but more so as our buyer was a Hong Kong national. Needless to say things went a bit pear shaped at times with this scenario, and this is where Nikki and her team came into their own and essentially took over organising our buyer in the absence of any support from his online conveyancer Needless to say we are very grateful to Nikki and her team for stepping up in this way as without doubt the chain would have collapsed had they not stepped in and helped our buyer. Ultimately the move was successful thanks to Nikki and her team - not forgetting Sue in sales progression who was also instrumental in the process in working with Nikki, ourselves and our overseas buyer.
