Lots of early promise but not followed up with driving the sale forward. Appalling communication, sometimes upto 3 weeks between updates. AG claim to be specialists in these types of buildings but saw no evidence of this. A huge bill for very very little effort. I would never use them again. They offered no added valve over and above an online agent such as purple bricks. The office is extremely small and inpersonal meaning it's impossible to hold a private conversation and one member of staff couldn't even find our details on their system 3 days before exchange of contracts. No log in details provided for their on line property sale/ tracking portal so cannot comment on this. Hopeless. With this level of service it's no wonder online portals are taking over, saving you a huge amount of money.

The house went up, 72hrs later it was SSTC, this was in main, due to the skilful negotiations of Megan and exceptional communication. We managed two viewings and three offers in that space of time. That was enough in itself as we were delighted to secure our home at the right price. However, Megan went that extra mile by putting us in contact with approved local specialists, including: a surveyor, builder and gas and electrical engineers. This led on to meeting our architect who's drawn up the perfect plans to extend our home.
In addition to this, we were guided through the outcome of the survey and were able to reach a satisfactory re-negotiation between ourselves and the vendor with seamless disruption to the sale.
Overall, I couldn't be more impressed and there's no doubt that we'll be heading back to Megan when we've completed the renovation of the house and when (or if) we ever decide to move.

Andrew Grant Kidderminster sold our house within 6 weeks of it going on the market. The initial marketing was easy and quick and we were up and running in no time. The online "tracker" facility is a fantastic way to keep up to date with enquiries, viewings, interest etc throughout the sale. Unfortunately our original buyer had to pull out but our agent, Kristina Hawley, pushed on with marketing and generating interest and we had an second offer in no time! We pushed for a quick completion and amazingly...it happened seamlessly. All the staff seem to have a genuine personal interest in our sale so we felt in safe hands all the way through and knew we would achieve a sale quickly. A great branch of a great estate agent and my husband and I would highly recommend them.

it appears that as you already had a prospective buyer in play and a price agreed a potential second offer was ignored and I would have lost out on £10000 !
I don't blame jane - my guess is that it's a policy failure ....another £10k is only £150 extra commission for you so why bother.

This was an unusual situation, with a Grade 2 listed building that had been empty for several years. I was the executor for the estate and live in Ireland, so could not just 'pop in', but although I never met them, I felt that I developed a good relationship with the agents involved (Jane and Julie) who did all I asked of them and more. Although we did not achieve the asking price, this was not surprising as the property had deteriorated, and in the end the process was quick and efficient. I couldn't have asked for more. Well done, girls!
P.S. The bit below that says I've read the Terms and Conditions is a lie - I haven't, and I object to being asked to 'register' to submit this review. Because of where I live I am never likely to use this site again. All that should be required at the end of this is a button which says 'SUBMIT'! STOP THE MARKETING BIT, RATERAGENT - it doesn't belong here!
