An Agency for those with 'old fashioned values'

Andrew Grant, in particular Stuart Bass, put a human perspective on what turned out to be the most traumatic of times for us. Our property was a Probate sale, and with that came the whole spectrum of bereavement emotions that made the dismantling of our family home extremely taxing. Stuart was considerate and supportive. The fact that the initial chain collapsed, due to problems further down the line, only prolonged the stress and it was some time before the last offer eventually reached Completion. Now that it is over, I can say that Stuart acted in the most gentlemanly fashion - unlike some of the other agents we met - over what turned out to be a very long period of time. At my time of life - and I am sure there must be so many people of my age who like me, enter the world of Estate Agents. For us, this moment is crucial and is often about providing for the last part of our lives. Unlike younger folk who have the potential of future earnings, if it goes wrong, the situation is un-retrievable. My generation has a legacy of the old-fashioned principles; that of kindness, a straightforward approach and decency, only to find that these values no longer seem to apply to the practice of so many Estate Agents. However, I can personally testify to Stuart Bass being an exception to this trend and would therefore recommend Andrew Grant (Malvern) to all..

Supportive and caring for elderly client

From the onset of my mother's house sale the staff at Andrew Grant Worcester were courteous, caring and professional. They know what they're doing. and they are very good at it. .All of the AG staff that we came across in the Worcester branch were highly professional and had the key skill - an ability to deal with people in a friendly but competent way which moved our sale on. When we rang, the phone was answered promptly and efficiently; when we left a message out of hours there was a quick response to our question; there were phone calls from our AG contact Tina to check with us when our purchasers remembered that they had to sort out a mortgage - after we had arranged a completion date with them. west barn promised high profile sale that turned out to lack any credibility

Agent initial viewing of my property seemed to be enthusiastic stating great promise on customer interest & viewings, in reality this was a total pipe dream & completely false . The facts are as follows; I provided excellent photos, utility bills, epc certificate, all necessary info Agent stated they had free ad space in midlands publication that had wide circulation, publication was totally unknown. to me & other residents of my Cotswolds area. I received property brochure txt which I amended After some weeks found the property on right move But it lacked essential pics of kitchen that is a Must to any prospective buyer. I asked them to add this element Had one viewing in the early days of it going live ...... but since that ONE & ONLY VIEWING no feedback received. Since then I heard from no one as to what was happening or how it was being prompted I have NEVER RECEIVED the property brochure, have never had proof of the copy to sigh of Was sent the brochure it appeared in (no one in my area had ever heard of this publication) & to my absolute dismay found this publication to be totally unsuitable sales property medium. Instead it will be found in doc surgerys or similar place Never received feedback of any sort as to what how when or who wS promoting the property In the end I cancelled agents due to there total lack of professionalism & feedback to the client
