Excellent Estate Agent, Would Highly recommend

When I decided to sell my property I did a little shopping around and chose Andrew Grant as they were charging the least for the same services as others had advertised. They also promised to sell my property for more money than others had quoted. I admit I was a little sceptical at first as this offer seemed to good to be true. Once I met up with Lara I was quickly put at ease. Everything was explained in great detail and Lara made the process of setting it all up very smooth. I found the advice for what would be good for the photos and what would not very helpful. Joshuas eye for a good photograph was very evident. The price that we put my property in for and what we achieved was very close and realistic, Debbie gave very good advise after viewings and was always on the phone when needed and much more helpul than I have ever experienced when selling another property three years ago from that estate agent . l can't recommend them both enough. Martin from Andrew Grant came to value our cottage. He was extremely professional, straightforward and straight to the point. I knew we would be in good hands with him! He generated a fair bit of interest quite quickly and we accepted an offer. Unfortunately there were some problems with this couple and we were back to square one. Our next offer was the one and he was fantastic throughout this sale reassuring both parties. They say selling/buying your home is one of the most stressful things! Fantastic Service

Good agent, well informed.

The one thing that stood out from the moment we first sought prospective agents was the difference an ISO 9001 acreditation would make. The agent gave us a detailed form to complete about the property we were selling, which would then enable the agent to answer potential buyers questions. What a good idea, its a pity not all agents do this. From first hand knowledge of buying, I know how little so agents know about the property they are selling, or are unwilling to try and find out. I liked the marketing , the good quality property plans which I FEEL ARE VERY IMPORTANT to purchasers brousing the internet. We were able to use the agents services to track the buyers of our property progress in the purchasing, and they kept us informed, did acompanied viewings, which enabled us to still go on hoildays or weekends away whilst the property was being marketed. I would recommend these agents. Even the initial valuation appraisal was good, with a realistic valuation, not something that was unachievable. Good quality product, delivered in efficient mannor.

Jane was excellent

Jane was on the ball and kept us fully informed while she was there. Answered all our questions and consistently had a positive attitude toward the progress of our sale. However, Andrew Grant were seriously let down by Lara the office manager. As soon as she became involved with our sale we were left with the impression that Andrew Grant were not working on our behalf. The information she gave us was unreliable and we have a strong suspicion that it was due to false information she gave to our first buyers that they dropped out. Our eventual buyers were deeply unhappy with the attitude she displayed toward them, particularly in the closing stages. She does not seem to understand some of the basics of the sale process. Our interaction with other members of the Droitwich office were on the whole positive and Jane was outstanding during the period she dealt with our sale.

Coming from outside the area (100 miles away) , we decided to use Andrew Grants to sell my late sister in laws house mainly because of Jo. Not as good as we had hoped

Service was great at the beginning, then Matt left.. then Grace.. swiftly followed by the personal service we were receiving. I understand it takes a while for new personnel to get to grips with all of the clients but not to know who we were or what the house details were at completion was I feel pretty lacking. My friend took the keys in for me the day before completion and the agent knew nothing about house or our name. We did not receive even a telephone call to say congratulations your property has completed. I felt it was all about the money not the service.. no personal touches.. Such a shame as always found them good in the past

Very Helpful

This was a difficult and complicated sale. The property is an apartment in a listed building which is somewhat off the beaten track. The apartment owners hold the freehold through the medium of a limited company in which they and only they, are the shareholders. My solicitor was very unhelpful and I needed consistent aid from Debbie, representing Andrew Grant, to keep things moving. She always did my bidding vis a vis request for contact with the buyer and the buyer's solicitor. I can not speak highly enough of her efforts.

The sale of a Grade two listed building over 400 years old.

The Redditch Branch. A professional team, all proactive with the sale. I couldn't find fault with any aspect, from photos, to feed back on viewings and finally negotiating a price, I was kept uptodate constantly. Three members of staff left during the sale, Matthew Reynolds and Grace Martin and Glen who took the photographs. I was concerned that the new team wouldn't be able to compete with the standard...they did! A seemless exchange of information which resulted in the sale. There were many hurdles with the sale and I must admit it felt never ending, due to issues out of Andrew Grants hand, however I have exchanged and completed. I would like to thank Grace Martin for all her time and effort I am really impressed with her capabilities for negotiating me such a good price and her endless patience. This is the second time I have sold a house with Andrew Grant and I wouldn't contimplate using anyone else.
