My house was on the market through C J Hole Westbury-on-Trym before and during the first national lockdown. The poor communication between members of the team was fairly evident from the start, with various staff contacting me to discuss the same matters. The poor organisation continued throughout the viewing process - though to be fair, they did manage to get me some viewings. I had to contact the office (with great difficulty on some occasions) when they forgot to mention that the viewings were over and that we could return home. Sometimes the viewing had not even gone ahead! In the end, this poor organisation led to unannounced entry to my property by a member of C J Hole staff with two potential buyers. C J Hole had given me no notification of this visit whatsoever, and myself and my partner were symptomatic and following COVID 19 quarantine measures at the time. It's safe to say I collected my keys as soon as I was able!

We are sorry to hear that you feel like you have had this experience with CJ Hole. As you can see by our other reviews, it is very rare that we have negative feedback, so we do take your thoughts and concerns very seriously. We are disappointed to hear that you felt that communication was poor. We were thrown in to the first national lockdown when your house was on the market, and as with many other companies we did our very best to navigating our way through this with a reduced number of staff and we can only apologies if there was a drop in communication during this difficult period. In regards to entering a property, we would only do this if it was confirmed with our vendor, and the notes on our system showed that we did confirm this viewing the day prior. However we can only apologies if you feel that this wasn’t the case. We did follow this up with you with a formal meeting back in July and had thought that we had cleared this up, so we are sorry here that you still feel this way. We sold our late mother's house through CJ Hole and would highly recommend them. As we were selling during a pandemic and didn't live in the area ourselves it was good to know that we could trust them to handle the whole process very smoothly. The house was valued by Max Knighton who took all of the photographs, did the measurements and prepared the property description, he really took note of our comments and we were very happy with the way that the house was presented. We were regularly updated on the sale by Max and were given feedback after viewings by various members of the team. Once we had accepted an offer we were then assisted by Lorraine Banbury, the Sales Progressor, who very efficiently kept the process moving on and was our contact with the buyer and their solicitor. We are very happy with the whole service given by CJ Hole and would definitely recommend them to others.

I have bought and sold two properties through CJ Hole and found their services to be very professional. The Westbury and Henleaze offices work as a team, so there are plenty of staff available for viewings and support. Within 24hrs of putting my last property on the market there were 22 viewings booked, with more to follow in the next few days. We went to best and final offers within 6 days of viewings starting and achieved above the asking price. Very pleased with their services and would recommend.

Currently renting from CJ Hole Southville, and there have been a few little maintenance problems with the house, and each time I've been dealt with courteously, professionally and so, so quickly. Case in point, yesterday I called to report a problem with the plumbing at the beginning of my lunch hour, by the time I got back to work they'd called back, found out about the problem, sent the landlord out and he had taken a look at it before I was back at work! So far, can not speak highly enough of the property maintenance and letting teams.

GoogleEva and Donna were absolutely fantastic during our house purchase. Being first time buyers we were unsure of the process but Eva helped move everything along much more smoothly. She continuously chased the solicitors to make sure that we stayed on track. She was extremely responsive to emails and any worries or troubles we were having.
