I am very pleased to have used C.J.Hole in Bristol for the sale of my house. Once an offer is accepted a Sales Progressor - in my case Clare Singh - takes over organising the transaction, and seeing it through to Completion. The process of buying and selling a house is notoriously stressful with many places along the time-line where things can stall or get stuck. Fortunately I could relax knowing that Clare was co-ordinating all the exchanges of information and requests as well as nudging the parties to keep up the momentum.

We worked with CJ Hole when we purchased our first home which went very well (after several purchase fell-throughs previously) and found CJ Hole very good at their work. So after 2 years when we now had to sell our first home we reached out for CJ Hole again and I was impressed by Rob Watson who could still remember details of our house during the valuation (which to me is a clear sign of taking his work seriously) and presented us a pack of property information which was the most comprehensive one I have seen (compared with that from another 2 property agencies). He is proactive and follows the property market very closely. Rob is also resourceful, accommodating and gave solid advice which helped us, a first-time and now first-time seller, a lot. Very happy about these 2 experiences with CJ Hole. If I need to buy or sell again in Bristol I will definitely go to Rob and his team again.

I highly recommend the team at C J Hole. They sold our property very quickly, after we lost three previous sales with another estate agent due to the house being a Laing Easiform construction. Rob, who is one of the nicest estate agents you could meet, organised great photos, with an honest, yet excellent, description. This was no mean feat given this was an empty house, following a bereavement, that also had very dated decor and fittings, and in the last few years very little maintenance. Clare who took over the sales process was awesome, talking me off the ledge more than once when we appeared to have one delay after another, on what had originally appeared to be a straightforward chain free sale. Everyone at C J Hole is courteous and responds promptly to any queries or concerns. I cannot recommend this team enough. If I was selling or buying a property in Bristol then this is the team I would use. Thank you, you are all amazing.

The initial valuation of the property I was selling was probably far too high, so the price had to be reduced a couple of times to get a sale. Apart from that, the whole team of sales negotiators and the sales progressor at CJ Hole were outstanding and very helpful with good guidance along the way. CJ Hole helped us sell our home end of 2025. One thing that stood out was that they were willing to listen to our opinion, after we felt we had been undervalued by two other agents. Rob took onboard our thoughts and we ended up getting a higher price than the other agents were willing to even market it at (i believe because the others had wanted a quick sale and had buyers ready but with smaller budgets). As a result, the extra cash allowed us to purchase the house we really wanted. Clare, who later dealt with the sale/purchase work was really helpful and ‘on it’ when there were small issues, which is so helpful, as the UK system is SO drawn out. Overall a great service and would recommend.

Recently sold my mums house with CJ Hole - when Dan came to value the property he was very knowledgable and professional and gave me confidence in their ability to sell the property. When viewings took place I received regular feedback and if there were no viewings I still received a weekly call to check in. After the property was sold Lorraine took over the sell and if it wasn’t for her it would not have completed before Christmas. She worked tirelessly with the other solicitor in the chain to get it over the line. I would definitely recommend this Estate Agents.

Experience of dealing with Rob and Tom was positive. Rob was showing good friendly communication. He was supportive in taking the right steps to buy the property we wanted. Tom really put attention to take good pictures of our house for sale. Overall we completed both: sale and purchasing new property through CJHole in Westbury on Trym successfully. However, I had impression some things could work better. We have never had sign "For sale" or "Sold" by our house. The agent who showed our property to the buyer has never seen our house before. The lady who was giving us 2nd viewing on our future house didn't know much about the house. I like that our house was priced as individual unique property not only influenced by the area statistics (last house sold in the area and etc). Another agent only looked at our house by some local information. Without showing any enthusiasm to me - he didn't gain my confidence in selling my house for good price (despite he was cheaper to deal with).

CJ Hole have been wonderful. I’d recommend them if you are looking to buy and sell a property. Their sales team were really helpful with lots of feedback from viewings on our property. They were also very fair when we were looking at properties to buy. Once we’d moved onto the next stage (Sold STC) their in house sales progressor, Lorraine, was worth her weight in gold. She did everything she could to make our sale go through smoothly. We had a few ups and downs in the process but it really was easier because of CJ Hole. Thanks to the whole team 😊
