Big thanks to Molly! After finding our property we were able to quickly arrange a viewing within a couple of hours of sending an enquiry, for the next day (on a Saturday which was great!) and we decided we wanted to take it, so on the Monday we started the process, it all moved nice and quickly and all our questions were answered swiftly and professionally and even when we had a second viewing and there was an issue with access to the property it was dealt with efficiently. Molly has been really helpful and always there when needed!

We asked three Estate Agents to value my mother-in-law's property and Jackie at C J Hole was a clear winner. She was friendly but professional, had done her homework on the property, its locality and the market, and evidenced this with examples of sales of similar properties. Unlike the others, she was able to both value the property and have an idea of potential buyers who might be interested in it - others seem to have made a distinction between the roles of taking properties on and selling them. Her timeline for bringing the property to market was clear and her follow up immediate. Having made the decision to go with C J Hole, her team organised the EPC, photos, property details and Rightmove marketing within a week and the property sold on the first day of viewings. Good communication since then meant that the whole process has been completed within 2 months. We would definitely recommend Jackie, Jenni, Charlotte and the team at C J Hole.

CJH were highly efficient. They were quick to make arrangements and go live after recommending an excellent photographer and independent solicitor. All staff who would conduct viewings visited our house beforehand for a full briefing/guided tour before viewings commenced. They were supportive, proactive and maintained good communications throughout, facilitating a very satisfactory outcome. We originally started working with CJ Hole back in early 2019 and after getting a few quotes through 4 or 5 of the Cheltenham based Estate Agents, we decided that Jackie at CJ Hole would be the best person to get our sale. The photos were taken by Jackie and they turned out great and we reviewed the description fo our property before we put it up for sale. We had a few viewings in the first week and accepted an offer within the first 10 days. Unfortunately, due to our onward purchase, we eventually had to drop out. The main contact we had through was Jenni who was always on the ball and quick to reply. So, over the space of 2 years, we tried to buy 3 houses, and it kept falling through due to the chain. There were 4 occasions where CJ Hole had to find a new buyer for us due to our onward falling through or being delayed, and always within 10 days we had an offer accepted. They also have a list of potential buyers they contact so its always quick to get an offer accepted. They always stuck to Covid restrictions during viewings and left our house exactly as we left it after viewings. Finally we found the perfect house to purchase and we were able o complete the sale in 2021. Having worked with a few estate agents over trying to purchase a few houses, I must say that CJ Hole were the best. In the future if we look to move (hopefully not too soon since its taken us so long to move), we will use CJ Hole for our sale.

We had 4 quotes completed by Cheltenham based estate agents and chose Jeremy at CJ Hole as he had clearly done his research on the property, gave me an honest view and a competitive price. Two initial things I really liked were the team viewings of the property so that everyone hosting viewings knew the property and all the details. Secondly, the recommended professional photographer was amazing. Highly recommend everyone use this service - it’s a small cost in the grand scheme of things and the photos looked great. CJ Hole was quick to get viewings in, had lined up prospective buyers before the property had gone live online. We had a few offers within a couple of weeks and agreed a buyer shortly after. Jenni was our main contact and she has been fantastic. Always responding to phone calls or emails, answer any questions and was a great go between the solicitors and our buyer making sure everything ran smoothly. We are so pleased we chose CJ Hole. Be aware of what you're told on viewings. I was told that as part of the sale a fixture would be left at the property and to wait for the F&F form to come through to confirm that I wanted to keep it. I've since been told that the fixture has been removed and I should have made sure that it was stated on the sales memo. And of course they are now not taking any responsibility for the misinformation and have advised that a verbal agreement means nothing!

They accepted our deposit, had us sign a contract stating if they changed their mind through no fault of ours before the move in date, the deposit would be returned. They then changed their mind and attempted to keep our deposit. After a firm dispute, they agreed to return it as a 'good will gesture'. They then took 2+ weeks to return it, after several follow up calls and emails. Just what you need when you're moving house. What a joke.

Having now moved in to a new property I can reflect on my experiences with CJ Hole. Very good, detailed listings and a rush free, Covid safe viewing with Michael. Application, referencing and contract process very smooth, prompt, with fantastic, friendly and efficient communication from Magda and Sara which really helped my confidence in the arrangements being made. The only niggle (which is not the fault of CJ Hole) is that Homelet, the partner referencing agency are a little ott on frequency of emails, calls and texts to try and sell their add on services (such as home insurance, internet), after the main referencing is signed off. Key collection and rent checks were also promptly arranged and Covid safe. I would happily recommend CJ Hole as a trustworthy letting agent based on my experiences.
