Terrible communication and follow through

Wow. Where to begin. I moved in to a CJ Hole rental property 5 months ago, and not a week has gone by without me chasing on maintenance issues. I've only had a few issues - most with straightforward fixes - but the lack of internal communication within their team (particularly when covering annual leave), the inability to organise repairs around times when I have clearly said when they would need a key for access or not and the lack of a reliable contact outside of Mon-Fri office hours is simply unacceptable. More than once, I've come home and a repair hasn't taken place while I'm out, as it was agreed it would be, so I've had to chase and ask why it didn't happen and what thr next steps were. Excuses have been lack of keys and rescheduling by the contractor - ok these things can happen but don't make me chase to find out why a job hasn't been done as agreed when I was already waiting weeks. When repairs have been arranged for when I'm out at work, on several occasions the repairmen have been sent without a key (despite me telling the agency to provide one) and wehave had to reschedule. On several other occasions I've had calls from contractors to say they're on the way and it's the first time I'd heard anyone was coming. Current maintenance issues will cause damage to the house if not repaired and I'm being told to wait an undefined amount of time. Every single repair I've had to request has required multiple emails and calls and a lot of unnecessary stress to resolve. I will be advising my landlord to swap to another property management company as whatever fees he is paying for CJ Hole are not worth it.

I have just endured a rather protracted flat sale and I can honestly say that without C J Hole, I might have gone quite mad. They have been consistently friendly, funny, wise and efficient. Every call answered promptly, every e-mail responded to and lots of energy expended chasing solicitors, builders and surveyors on my behalf. I drank them dry of coffee, had a couple of shouting fits when I needed them and dropped in whenever I needed to get a sensible opinion. They also helped me communicate with my buyers, exchanging useful information without always going via the solicitors. Right from the outset, they got me 22 viewings in 3 days and an excellent sale price. Where they really earned their keep though was the constant support and encouragement to shepherd me through the quagmire of what followed. It made a huge difference to feel that you weren't on your own just because the sale had been agreed. I would use them again without hesitation. I'm in no rush to ever sell again, but I will miss the free coffee......

The worst experience with an estate agency in my life. Within 3 months since the tenancy started they managed break the contract by letting stranger into our property without any notice. Also They gave away our personal detail to 3th party which has been opening and closing contracts in out names. They are no flexible at all and if you need something you have to go to the branch in person. I'm finding this agency stress and trouble making and not reliable what so ever. They have no boundries and lie is what they do. After moving to the property it took a year and half to sort all issues. On the end the landlord went with different agency after we talk and found out that they have been also lying to the land lord about issues and the state of the property.
