I would highly recommend Curchods Guildford. Selling a property is a complex process involving managing and translating those conversations between the seller, the buyer and solicitors. The estate agent plays a vital part of this negotiation and people management to help things go smoothly. I would much prefer to use a bricks and mortar agent over an online model to help take the sales management off the seller's hands. Kat Mroz was my negotiator and proved to be a total expert and pleasure to work with during this process - always calm, patient, professional and adept at keeping things moving throughout any unplanned challenges, which can sometimes occur. A huge thanks to her, as well as to Charlie and all the team!

Penny Maple helped me sell my house quickly and successfully, despite what was quite a challenging sale. The situation wasn’t straightforward, and the other joint owner was not always very cooperative, but Penny handled everything with professionalism, patience and grace. +I honestly wish there's a 10 start rating, I would have gladly given it all, I had a terrible experience with most of the letting agent in Woking, episodes of showing my sister and I a property to them not giving us feed back about our offer being approved/granted, We had to keep chasing and calling as our notice period was almost due, It was a disaster, We had lost hope and was playing the worst scenario in our heads already! I was disappointed to learn that, although they initially valued my mother’s property highly and were very convincing about what they could achieve, the experience changed once the first three weeks had passed. Since then, there has been considerable pressure to reduce the asking price. Having worked in the city, I’m familiar with some of the tactics used to win business and then apply pressure afterwards, not very professional. I also felt that the team lacked sufficient local knowledge and experience. Perhaps they should consider employing staff who have a stronger understanding of the area and can properly highlight the unique selling points of local properties. I would strongly recommend doing your due diligence before signing with them and being locked in for months. While they are very good at presenting themselves and talking about how they can outperform the competition, in my experience the focus should ultimately be on the client and achieving the best possible outcome for them.

Curchods sold our family home of over 60 years. Esme Webster-Brooks was our key contact and throughout the process was extremely professional, proactive, helpful, reassuring and gave some very useful advice. The service was above and beyond, including visiting the property for insurance and survey purposes when we couldn't and doing the final meter readings. Everything happened in a timely fashion (where it was in Curchods control) and we are very pleased with all the team and all that they did for us.
