We worked with Alison and Mark on the sale of my mothers home in Little Chalfont after she moved into residential care. They both worked hard to make the process really easy, from the initial viewings through advising on how to handle offers and throughout the sale process were responsive and helpful. We used the integrated solicitor from JNP and I felt this took out a layer of complexity and meant the agent was able to be more involved in supporting the process end to end. A 100% brilliant team.

Nick guided us through the sale of my partners bungalow with the ups and downs of selling which included a a buyer pulling out just before exchange to then securing us with another buyer almost immediately, ensuring we secured the purchase of our new home. We cannot recommend Richard at Churchods Estate Agents highly enough. He managed to rent our house out just before Christmas in record time, which was incredibly impressive. Luke was absolutely fantastic throughout the whole process. His communication was excellent, he always kept us updated, answered every question, and never made anything feel like too much trouble. He’s incredibly personable and genuinely supportive, to the point where he didn’t just feel like an estate agent but a friend. Hayley was also a huge help, she did a fantastic job of keeping us in the loop and advising us on next steps. The Dorchester team of Stuart, Rebecca, and Michelle recently sold my cottage in Martinstown. Initial contact with Stuart was friendly with very knowledgeable advice on the market locally and tips on presentation. We were genuinely touched by Joanne’s care, humanness and emotional intelligence from the very first moment we met her (which also happened to be the moment we fell in love with our now home!). She’s so down to earth and relaxed yet clearly deeply experienced, a hard-worker and tuned in to the realities of the property market which can be an emotional rollercoaster at the best of times. Joanne seemed to instinctively know what to say and when to say it (and, crucially, what/when not to say!) during what became quite a nervy and topsy-turvy sale for reasons entirely beyond her control. We’ll never be able to thank her enough, especially for the work she put in during those final weeks to get us over the line. You could tell she was quietly working away behind the scenes, going above and beyond to make sure everything held together. We have no intention of moving anytime soon (we’re still pinching ourselves about this house), but we’d wholeheartedly recommend Joanne and the whole Curchods Kingston team who have a rare mix of warmth, professionalism and proper know-how that’s hard to find in estate agents these days.

I would highly recommend this surveyor. I spoke to him on the phone and he explained everything to me and booked my survey at the next available slot. Everything was sent online and I signed and agreed without having to go in the office. Which was good for me as I live 2 hours away from the property I was buying. The report came 2 days after the survey as promised and was detailed and easy to understand. Claire was lovely and really helpful explaining how the payment system worked. Nothing was too much for them .

I’ve recently had a terrible experience with lettings agents/companies but on a Friday afternoon when I called, almost in a panic because I had a very short window to finding a place that I would call my home, Richard at Curchods, Kingston picked up the phone and little did I know my renting experience would change completely. From the friendly over the phone customer service, the level of reassurance that I’d called the right place and would be treated as a human being vs just being another “tenant”, to finding my new home through his help and thorough step by step guide. I’m so grateful I made that call and I cannot thank the whole team enough, especially Richard who answered every single call, email (however silly the questions may have been at times). I recently instructed Curchods to let out my property in Kingston. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. After providing all requested documents and confirmation, I received no acknowledgment and had to chase multiple times by e-mail and phone. Days went by without any updates or clarity, even during peak September lettings season. Finally, it was only when I exercised my 14-day right to cancel that I received a response. A one-line e-mail on the same day confirming they would not proceed, with no apology or explanation. For a landlord, responsiveness and communication are critical, and sadly this was not delivered. “Proactive” is not a word I would associate with Curchods.
